Cast your mind back to March 2014 and you may well remember  Power Vacuum's excellent Vectors EP as a  soundtrack of that time. A caboodle of tracks from Objekt, An-I, Positive Merge, JoeFarr & J. Tijn came included. Ready yourself for a serious case of deja vu as Vectors returns for the sequel to that initial joyride.

This time they've got Vacated, Jerome Hill, Cylob, Cornwallis and even BR favourite Anklepants involved. The very mention of Power Vacuum conjures up thoughts of the peculiar, so expect the whole EP to revel in the weirder and wilder side of techno. Maximum fun from start to finish.

As the man behind some of the city’s most progressive, inclusive and famously fizzy parties such as Dickslap, his selector and party host stripes precede him. His productions will do soon, too. Here’s your proof… A debut eight track behemoth entitled ‘Empty Void’

Four originals, four remixes, Nark reveals his full spectrum right here: from the spatial oddity and calming trippiness of the title track to the alien swamp creatures of ‘Sunrise Climb’, a track created from a collection of nature field recordings, via the poisonous 303 of ‘Acid Night Cap’ and the zoning tubular hypnotiser ‘Carl’s K Hole’, this is the sound of a man who doesn’t just understand dancefloors through years of playing to them… But knows how to push them to the edge and bring them back from the brink, too.

Naturally the remixes are equally forthright and boundary-blurring. Ex-Azari & III’s Ali X and his partner in technoid crime Ximena twist up ‘Empty Void’ into a broken beat rattler, Portland provocateur The Prey has us writhing amid the Roland muck on ‘Acid Night Cap’ while Octo Octa has us all gliding with her precision percussive twist to ‘Sunrise Climb’. Finally the label bossman Simonetti gets involved in the action with a cosmically minded take on ‘Carl’s K-Hole’, bringing Sagan’s sample to outer-planetary new levels.

Welcome to the void… There’s no turning back now.

Svetlana Mart is a professional model, aspiring actress and performer. You may have previously seen her on the best runways of the world, in fashion media and as a gogo girl in POEXXXALI’s “Vampir is Dead” music video and live shows. Svetlana had also recently featured in Maxim Nazarov’s “Случайно” track as part of trio The Models.

“Moon Eclipsed the Sun” is Svetlana’s debut single on AVEC. It is stylized as Belgian New Beat of the late 1980’s with loud industrial snares, electro zaps, orchestral stabs and a rolling “Peter Gunn” bass line. The poem is inspired by the writings of Alister Crowley and Anton LaVey and is designed as a magical instrument to activate the proper FUN frequencies of the mind.

The single accompanied by an extended club version, as well as an instrumental.
