Citizens Of Vice returns from its summer jaunts with the mini comp ‘“Meraki’ a rather lovely collection of eclectic aural pleasures.  

Meraki is a greek word that does not really translate very well into English. Although hard to define it’s closest meaning would be “When you leave a piece of yourself, your soul, creativity, and love in what you do. To put a little bit of yourself into something”. This quote sums up how all involved feel about this release.

Crooked Man, Mass Density Human, Sons Of Dub, Lanowa, Offshore & Coen and Staccatoman are the talented folks behind the music and all offer something very different.

The first time Ačas touched the decks was around fifteen years ago, at school dance parties he organized together with his friend Zakmina. Since then, his sound has evolved continuously, shaped by Lithuania’s vibrant electronic scene and countless nights spent at venues and festivals such as Opium Club, Kablys, Lizdas, and many others.

In 2019, Ačas took part in the Funikulierius Festival’s DJ competition, “Alio DJ,” aiming to earn a spot on the main stage. Out of roughly 160 participants across three stages, he finished among the top two on the techno stage, securing his place to perform at Funikulierius ’19.

Today, Ačas is a resident DJ at Kambarys, a long-running event series in his hometown Tauragė, where he continues to share his passion for electronic music through energetic and atmospheric sets.
