Secret night clubs in Ukraine & Russia "De Sad” are now set to launch a label, and the first release comes correct with the fresh house goods, enlisting the legendary voice of dance music, Robert Owens, to feature on OFF NIGHT's new track 'Suspended in Air.’

Off Night brings the class here with a rugged production that will do damage on the dance floor. Robert Owens has sung on endless amounts of definitive and iconic house cuts and worked with all the major labels and artists in the game. He still brings it each and every time and here his whispered vocals turn into more smooth and impassioned verses as the prickly beat and strident drums all get you into a sweat.

This is a physical, twisted track with a fat bassline and plenty of energy in the tight synths. 2 lovely tracks with a remix package set for release the end of April.

Inspired by the sense of community and determination which came out of the current pandemic, Just Her wrote the shimmering, uplifting ‘All We Have Is Now’ as a reminder to stay in the present moment and be thankful for the now, as “that’s really all we have”.
 
Later in 2020, Just Her created ‘Stay The Same’, which was produced specifically to sit alongside ‘All We Have Is Now’ for an EP release. As Just Her wanted ‘Stay The Same’ to be stylistically different to its partner track, she added her own hauntingly fragile vocals. The lyrics highlight the strength of relationships and a reflection of how strong things have been with her partner during the pandemic, despite everything which they have experienced.
 
Just Her has released on several leading labels including on Anjunadeep, Get Physical, Crosstown Rebels, Global Underground, Selador, Armada, her own Constant Circles label. Based in the South of England, DJ & Producer Pandar has been crafting some of the most exciting and energetic new House music that’s sure to soundtrack the dancefloors and festivals of summer 2021. Since starting his journey in 2015, the young prodigy has built a following for his sound worldwide and garnered attention from some of the industry’s biggest names. On previous releases, he’s been premiered by Jaguar on BBC Radio 1, as well as support from the likes of Houseum, leading to over 150k streams last year.
Through his affection and dedication to dance music dating back to the disco era, his aim is to bring a light-hearted perspective to a scene that can take itself too seriously. His sound draws influence from soulful, jazz inspired melodies, fused with house driven beats, providing an exciting and feel-good energy behind every release.Speaking on the new single, Pandar states:
“This release has been an ongoing project for over 12 months, starting as a completely different track that changed drastically throughout the process. The inspiration behind the record began
with the aim to create something very emotive and high energy, that would get people moving and grooving on a sweaty, crammed dancefloor in the heat of the night (something every music lover and raver has missed being a part of for a long time!)

Masters At Work are back in action! With the Revamp and Re-release of the Maw Records catalog, Masters At Work are now ready to release their first new track in over 20 years. Mattel, the title comes from an early drum machine, the boys have used sounds from that original drum machine and have produced a drum driven electronic groove. The beats and groove reaches a climax and goes into a frenzy percussion solo played live in the studio by Kenny Dope. Louie Vega bounces off the beats and percussion solo with a bouncing bassline and hard hitting stabs taking this seven minute and fifty nine second track into the stratosphere.

The music of Genius of Time has always been defined by a certain elegance and grace. Finding new ways into and out of the labyrinth that some people call (deep) house, one the Swedish duo’s inner strength is the uncanny ability to create tension, sustaining and playing with it, before rewarding the listener (or dancer) with a fulminating mirror ball. Same goes for their treatment of percussive elements. 
„Peace Bird“, the opener of GOT’s EP of the same name, is a prime-example of that technique: a tight build-up and an intricate breakdown lead to heavily strings and foolproof floor finesse. Coming along with „Smiling Into Eternity“ that mellows you down easy as well as the club ready  „Rymd01“, the whole thing is a more than worthy successor to GOT’s first EP for Running Back almost five years ago. Niceness unlimited. Nerd facts: most of the elements of these three tracks here were recorded live and then mixed down on a reel to reel. No safety net, no double bottom!  Genius of time and genius of love.

Omena travels south of the Mediterranean Sea with antique maps and compass in hand for the release of Parviz's Zerzura EP. This record features four songs of romance and reverie, taking you through a dizzying jazz journey, full of twists and turns; starting with emboldened trumpets, only to end on a handful of quaint piano notes. As dusk settles upon the dunes, the mirage has now vanished, and the forlorn hope turns into a soul-searching journey.

To capture the atmosphere of the piece, Parviz has partnered with artist Rickard Eklund to put together the cover art for the release. Much like Parvis himself, Mr. Eklund was inspired a great deal by the mysticism of the region, which he goes onto explain in our exclusive interview where both delve into the influences behind their collaboration.

As you read through their discussion that touches on everything from Percey Shelley's Ozymandias to the music of Lounge Lizards, Yuseef Lateef and Duke Ellington, make sure to listen to Parivz's forthcoming track taken from the EP titled "Odalisque Au Fauteuil Noir." It will certainly set the mood and get you into the mindset of partaking in a little discovery and introspection yourself.
