The E.P. takes its name from the ancient and gigantic storm, bigger than the Earth, that swirls around the planet Jupiter. Similarly, the E.P. has a constantly-moving, massive and menacing energy that pushes the sound of electro to new horizons.

The release includes four original peak time meteorites with an additional rocket from Chrome captain Jensen Interceptor, who gives the bass-heavy EP-highlight "Death Clock" a high octane rework.

Physical release is on extra special Jupiter red coloured vinyl.

A curfew had long ruled the lives of the people in the city; at night barely a whisper could be heard and not a soul could be seen. But not everyone played by the rules, some had free passes to do as they wished - those in charge knew it was not in their interest to stop them. It was more trouble than it was worth. Though they seemed to wield power and privilege, this was all a facade; the city really belonged to the misfits.

Everyone's favourite moustache'd producer, Pablo Bozzi, is back on Jennifer Cardini's Dischi Autunno imprint, following his debut last year with Last Moscow Mule. The last few years have seen Bozzi go from strength to strength as both a producer and DJ. Whether it's tearing up Berlin's most famous bathroom HÖR on the regular, performing as part of Soft Crash and Infravision - with Phase Fatale and Kendal respectively - or simply making moves solo, Bozzi is in a class of his own when it comes to capturing that 80s nostalgia. 

It's no different on Ghost Of Chance. A deeper exploration into synthwave, Italo Disco and EBM, the six tracks across the release cement his knack at crafting music with the sentiment and flair of times gone by but with a fresh and contemporary approach.

With a slew of releases on such respected imprints as Dam Swindle’s Heist Recordings and NYC’s Let’s Place House, Amsterdam based duo Makèz have been steadily building their reputation as purveyors of Jazz infused house music. Having worked on tracks with Inner City, Folamour, and Nebraska (and been remixed by Dego & Orlando Voorn) they now announce the launch of their own label Sonic Soil with the scorching single ‘Love You More’, which features Melbourne’s Allysha Joy (30 / 70 Collective) alongside fellow Amsterdammers Gallowstreet, accompanied by dancefloor-ready remix from Mr G.

After meeting for the first time, Kees and Willem instantly recognized each other’s passion for music. Their love for house, disco, jazz, and hip-hop served as a foundation for their friendship and, later on, for their musical partnership. The resulting output of their creative efforts blends the essence of genres and eras they feel inspired by, and their own ideas to the mix, creating an instantly recognizable slice of soulful electronic music. In the studio, the two are in perfect harmony. Willem is in charge of creating the soul-soothing chords and melodies that define the duo’s sound, while Kees brings the rhythm that provides a steady foundation for each track.

With additions coming from Amsterdam’s finest brass outfit Gallowstreet, ‘Love You More’ takes influence from classic West London Bruk, completed with a 2023 edge - melding Jazz progressions with club ready energy . Allysha Joy is on top form here, her soul elevating vocals lifting the proceedings to a new spiritual plane. On the flip, UK legend Mr. G transforms the track into an anthem for underground dance floors, delivering raw, hypnotic drums and distorted basslines like only he can. Not too shabby for a first release.

Our 33rd release is replenished by a young talent who has arrived again from the storehouse of house nuggets - Tom Arkay with his strong three-track "Inner Spirit EP"
Clement - a Parisian DJ and producer. He has been mixing for more than a decade, sharing his own vision of house music, moving from hypnotic deep tracks to heavy raw cuts.

Inner Spirit - is a garage house inspired by the New York sound of the 90s. This track creates the atmosphere of a real house party and makes you dance until the morning. Better Late Than Never - is a tighter house groove that makes you move to the beat of the music. This track is ideal for lovers of deeper dense sound. And the final track Rise - creates a languid and breaks atmosphere that takes the listener to another world.

Dalmata Daniel welcomes Filmmaker and Petros Spatharos for the eighth part of their split series. This obscure 3-3 track vinyl is the debut of the Columbian music maker on the label. However, for the Athens-based producer it's a return after his participation on "Dalmata Daniel eats Lahmacun" compilation. But this project isn't their first collaboration, because Petros released his first album on Body Musick, Filmmaker's own imprint.

Filmmaker probably doesn't really need to be introduced to those who are comfortable with contemporary underground music. In less than five years he has composed and released a huge and relevant oeuvre by himself or on labels such as the UK-based Opal Tapes, Dutch Tartarus, Greek Phormix or the German Veyl, etc. To add Dalmata Daniel to this list is kind of a dream come true for the label, because they have been following his musical journey since the beginning. And no doubt, his side of the vinyl is another testament to his already perfected sound. What you recognise from the first moment of this noisy, industrial, sometimes dissonant ebm driven electro, infused with a film noir atmosphere and total darkness.

While on the flip side, Petros Spatharos keeps the obscurity going, which is the real link with his split partner's music. Only his sound is clean, not chaotic, but rather underworld techno with an extremely restrained tempo and some beyond-the-grave acid screams. That's how this inferno journey will be complete with full of dark emotional atmospheres and hypnotic textures.

This EP is inspired by deep reflections on the meaning of life in a fast-paced world filled with thoughts and emotions. The A side roars with high bpm and furious rhythms.“Keep me high” express the need of escaping ordinary life, seeking something that keeps us "high" and allows us to escape and reset. Following up "Fast Rate" spans a variety of influences, blending the allure of old-school Detroit electro with futuristic sounds achieved through bold experimentation and advanced wave modelling. This fusion results in a diverse and innovative sonic aesthetic, ranging from nostalgic '80s/'90s vibes to experimental dimensions where tones morph and evolve.

"Solo in Space" and "Restless” on the flip, side deliver direct pulsating sounds and rhythms, embracing an impactful electro-techno vision. These tracks merge both worlds, combining the energy and drive of electro with the power and tension typical of techno, resulting in a sonic journey that blurs genre boundaries. Completing the collection is a digital bonus track, "Galactic Power," which serves as a soulful embodiment of the EP's essence. With its otherworldly alien-style pitched vocals,The track intricately crafts a cosmic palette of bright pulses and ethereal FM synthesis.

This release represents a bold and progressive vision of electro, confirming and solidifying the eclectic direction and the concept of inter genre flexibility. Music can be an ever-evolving form of art, blending elements that transport listeners to distant cosmic realms.

Next up on Calypso Records is Aristidez, who has emerged as an important figure in his hometown of Lima with the Casalocasa parties which he has run since 2012, and has used to bring the likes of Hunee, Matias Aguayo and Kim Ann Foxman to the city. Having previously released on labels including Disque Discos and Discos Aquelarre, Aristidez's brand new 'Evasivas Esotericas' EP takes the listener on a journey dipped in Peruvian culture through the streets of Lima.

We're very happy to be premiering a remix of lead track 'Nada Nada' by Russian duo Simple Symmetry who've previously released on Disco Halal. Mysteriously titled the 'What Happens After Death' remix, it ups the tempo with frenzied vocals and clattering drums.
