Each track is a miniature odyssey, a suspended scene, where synths paint interstellar landscapes. The rhythms beat like electronic hearts, oscillating between tension and release. TDWS doesn't just make you dance — he invites you to journey inward, eyes closed, into otherworldly realms.

There's no need to introduce the Swiss army knife of the label Brandski. Through his remix, he breathes new elegance into progressive trance, carried by a retrofuturistic breeze. His reimagining moves forward, magnetic — where 90s echoes meet visions of tomorrow.

TDWS - Ten Years (Brandski Remix)

Gratts' last record ‘New Horizons’ saw the light earlier this year. Now, the Belgian has invited musical pals from far and wide to reinterpret the tracks his 'Horizons Renewed' EP.

Feel Fly, the alias of Perugia-based producer Daniele Tomassini, a visionary force in Italy’s electronic music scene and co-founder of Afro Templum, debuts on Taste Rec. with his new EP.

Titled "Festina Lente", an old Latin saying that means "make haste slowly", this deep work invites listeners to surrender to dance, movement, and the flow of energy in a timeless space, untouched by the idea of an ending. It's sincere and atmospheric, moving through the artist’s musical roots: progressive sounds, cosmic moods and a touch of lightness drawn from Italian dance culture.
The release blends carefully sacred, dreamy visions with raw rhythmic sequences and warm synthesized basslines: magical.

People of the Light mark their second all-female-produced release with SuperJaimie’s "You in My Dreams", a snappy vocal cut that trades in atmosphere over spectacle. The original moves on clean percussion and hushed chords, letting a soft-focus vocal carry the emotion without crowding the mix.

Jay Hill keeps the intimacy intact while nudging the drums forward for more club certainty whilst keeping the vibe strong. Meanwhile Subjacent takes a different route, streamlining into deep, driving Techno drums with a tougher low end and fewer adornments, then pares it back further on the Dub by removing the vocal for tool-room utility. An Instrumental rounds out the release for DJs who prefer the mood without the vocal.

It’s a versatile package that works from warm-up to late hours, quietly confident and continuing People of The Lights track record of bringing together some incredible artists at the top of their game.

Summer of 2025, the UK techno community was shocked to hear of the sudden and untimely passing of one of its leading lights, James Baker, better known as ReKaB. As his light had been glowing ever brighter in recent years, with forays across the deep end of the techno spectrum, his passing was even more tragic. He had certainly found his voice, a particularly emotive, soul-tinged strain of techno building on the foundations of the 90s bastions of the form. Though bittersweet, Distant Worlds is immensely proud to present this release showcasing his personal evolution and mastery of the sound both he and the label love so much.

‘Art 4 Me’ opens with a transcendent chord progression, gradually incorporating brain piercing synth-work and chunky percussion before opening out into a perfect intersection of melancholy and euphoria. ‘Trapped In Boxes’ opts for a more introspective take on the classic techno template incorporating a Detroit palette of sound atop punchy bassline and beats.

Flip over for UK techno royalty Nuron’s take on ‘Art 4 Me’, a characteristically apposite reimagining. Teasing layers of inverted synth and percussive elements until a beautiful breakdown finally delivers that majestic chord progression. ‘Our World’ closes out this fantastic release with pure elegance; beats skitter, Detroit strings soar and cosmic pads align in timeless fashion. These are 4 tracks of deep, electro-soul music helping cement the legacy of one of the truest practitioners of the form over the last decade.

New Beat swagger meets EBM menace on the latest Kri release. New York based producer, DJ and Samo Records owner Facets channels the raw spirit of late ’80s New Beat and EBM into a modern club context with stripped-down rhythms and tense electronics lock.

Four original tracks are bolstered with two heavyweight remixes courtesy of Marcello Giordani, the Italo Deviance maestro, and the iron-fisted British techno icon Broken English Club / Oliver Ho.

A kite is a tethered heavier-than-air craft with wing surfaces that react against the air to create lift and drag. A kite consists of wings, tethers and anchors. Kites often have a bridle and tail to guide the face of the kite so the wind can lift it. Kites is also the title of the premiere by Zurich Dada.
The track takes us back to the darkest depths of the retro future from Zurich Dada a Portuguese Synth Pop duo who take inspiration from quantum physics and the multiverse theory as much as they do from Depeche Mode or the Human League the track itself reinvented reworked and reconfigured by Anbau, the Catalan stalwart of Aspecto Humano.
In a kicking rewiring with a gorgeous vocal performance, tough drums, melodic analogue synths in a digital age. This is going to fly.

Duro ejects into the second part of the year with Berlin-based producer Etcha delivering his sophomore release on the Mexican imprint; an astronomical adventure entitled ‘Confucius Says’. These 2 new exciting original cuts are filled with inter-planetary bleeps and grandiose pads, that along with remixes from Marvin & Guy and Bird Of Paradise make an outstanding pack for the late-night record spinner. Currently at the forefront of a new generation of Berlin producers, Etcha has also appeared on labels such as his own Exoplanets, Voll Schön, and more. 

The trip starts with “Confucius Says”, where a mystical, astral melody synth carries us along with a muffled Italo bass, as if we were traveling across a dense nebulae of sound on board of a retro-futuristic spaceship piloted by small green mysterious creatures on glittering space suits. Bird of Paradise takes this to paranoiac territories: an insistent, rolling bass makes us realise that moment where we have landed in a strange, remote planet, while danger seems just ahead us. 

“Operation Oskar Panizza”, the second original track, prepares us for battle. The snare-propelled-guitars are our weapons against the fatigue derived by a night full of wonders and chuggy basslines. At the end of the expedition, Marvin & Guy brilliantly push us into a new arpeggiated journey, right into the middle of the after-hours galaxy.

FREE DL: Night Moves - Transdance (Club Bizarre Edit)

After the sold-out first edition of Correcciones, Mexican label Calypso returns with Volume 2 of the series, unveiling four strong contenders for Edit of the Year. Starting things off, Calypso co-label boss Thomass Jackson has his way with a weirdo Polish jazz/fusion/funk track that keeps turning left while continually finding the right direction. 
Russian label regulars Simple Symmetry join forces with co-label boss INigo Vontier to deliver a "monster peak-time mantra" that's as perfect for morning rites as it is for nocturnal adventures. 
On the B-side, New York's Facets slows down the tempo of an old goa gem - the result has already gotten support from the likes of Intergalactic Gary, Alexis Le Tan and many others.
Volume 2 closes out in the hands of Italian dandys Marvin & Guy, who offer a magnificent take on a forgotten disco classic. 
Timeless edits indeed.

Long-time friend of bORDEL and Parisian producer TORB returns to the label with his arresting, nostalgic productions that’s picked up heaps of support from Laurent Garnier in the past with ‘Dans le Club’ focusing on italo-synth stylings. TORB comes from the Motorbass Recording Studio and debuted on Cassius Records in 2014 before launching his own Torb Trax imprint as a home for his productions Sebastien Chenut, one half of Scratch Massive reveals a progressive techno track with new wave and pop accents, ‘Die Chatgun’ reminiscent of the impetuous flights of Tame Impala’s producer Kevin Parker. Lëster is a producer and DJ, who's spent endless hours experimenting in his room fiddling with machines with the result being a broth of metal and dance sonics. His ‘Hamoglobin track from the compilation demonstrates his abilities to deliver energetic, emotive and uplifting productions for peak-time club moments.  From Paris to Los Angeles bORDEL has built a sound family, solid and rich in variety, which is presented here. ‘moRtel’ is out on bORDEL Records on 13th December 2019.
