Number nine of Funnuvojere’s catalogue is signed by label founder Massimiliano Pagliara, and comes as a collaboration with CockTail d’Amore resident Luigi Di Venere. Banana Moon is the name of their duo, an acronym born on a summer night walk in the south of Italy, hinting as well to the legendary 1970s Florentine Rock Club. Delphinium Blue is the title of this debut EP. A flower favoured by Derek Jarman, it evokes feelings of joy and warmth, urging us to open to new experiences. The Italo proto-house Tie Me Up sounds like a demand. An unorthodox arpeggio drives the slinky rhythm, crowded by luxurious vocals flared by cheeky claps.
Breaks, a funky bass and a joyous organ characterize the Chicago neoclassic Full Service, making us the wish for a crowded dance floor under the light of the moon.
On the flip the tittle track Delphinium Blue (Kabuki Mix) is a theatre of sounds inspired by Detroit techno, a genre much esteemed by Banana Moon. This track evokes a sweaty warehouse on fire with hedonistic pleasures. A proud nightingale discusses harmony with a 303 while exquisitely crafted drum patterns build up to a technologic Samba. Closing the EP Polyamory sings to interspecies love, leading us for a swim in the blue depths grasping the tail of a playful whale. While the track’s title dreams of unlimited summer love, this song confirms the duo’s unconditional passion for the Italo groove.

Siberian producer and modular synth enthusiast Roman Spin @romanspin unveils his latest sonic exploration: Noise Inspiration EP — a deep and immersive journey through dub techno and ambient textures. The release opens with the title track Noise Inspiration — a raw and emotional dub techno piece built on hypnotic rhythms, swirling echoes, and deep low-end movement. Its followed by Improvisation, a stunning ambient composition filled with evolving soundscapes and atmospheric depth, showcasing Romans intuitive approach to modular synthesis and live experimentation. The EP is beautifully rounded out by three masterful remixes from dub techno heavyweights QLTURA, DeeplyBlack @deeply_black , and Radio Badjay @radiobadjay , each offering their own signature take on the originals — from deep and driving to lush and meditative. A must-listen for fans of deep dub textures, analog warmth, and modular improvisation.

System11 is a point of gravity in a nebula of artists, professionals, enthusiasts, craftsmen and technicians. It is in a balance between quality and conviviality that they now structure a network of event production and technical services focusing on audio-visual culture. Among our achievements are the festival of La Vallée Électrique, the System11 VJing Competition and the Fugitive Short Film Festival, currently taking place. 

Having developed close ties with artists performing at their various events over the past 6 years, starting a label to help promote their work on a larger scale was a natural next step.

Each of the three artists of this Various Artists is involved body and soul in the evolution of the current French electronic scene: Discothèque Sauvage has been discreetly spreading its analogical and poetic tracks all over France for years, Visages regularly takes part in artistic events in Lyon, and Selected Dream Memories (aka Sire) has created a label (Pomme Sanguine) and a magazine dedicated to the Lyon music sector. The mastering of our EP was done by Ultimae Records (Lyon, France).

Visuals and VJing have always been an important component of System11 events, and following the success of the System11 VJ Competition, it only made sense to have their label represent the wide variety of visual artists which contribute so much to the music & events landscape.

The visual artists GlitchGrlz (Brooklyn, New York), finalists of our international VJing competition, produced three video clips to accompany each track on the EP. Their mind-bending visuals are crafted with a mix of digital and analog animation, archaic video mixers, and a touch of magic. Their quirky and eye-catching style transport you to a retro, technicolour world full of lighthearted fun.

This first EP encapsulates System 11’s essence by putting forward strong emerging talent in the electronic music landscape and bringing their audience along on a journey of sound and vision.
