After having invited, a few months ago, eight of the best producers France currently has to offer, La Forge now temporarily steps away from the ‘Crysta Ampullaris’ series for a more radiant and solar output. ‘Crysta Ensolaris’ is fueled by the optimism inspired by the perspective of soon getting back on the dancefloor, after more than a year of privation : this sheer need to reunite and come together, be it day or night, during these sweet moments of daydream that we’ve all been missing so much.
Back to an EP formula, our core main producers (Nigm, Slowglide, Lebird, Shonen Bat & Ayuji) gratify us with five tracks full of U.V. vibes. Soothing introduction ‘Ephemeral’, by Nigm, is an introspective downtempo nugget, not unlike a mystical journey under a zenith sun, with its load of sonic mirages and illusion. Then Slowglide turns the acid up, layering breakbeats into the incantatory ‘Solstice’, a big-beat-infused psychedelic track perfectly designed to launch a neo-pagan rave.
Suddenly, here comes the eclipse. Lebird’s ‘Adonia’, a high-energy electro banger, takes us to one of those sweltering nights when bodies undulate and collide, breathless as the kick drum hits. Then, wild kid Shonen Bat propels us towards a gigantic solarpunk rave in zero gravity with ‘Planet Serotonia’, a hybrid, alien-sounding track somewhere between breakbeat house & high-protein UK hardcore. Finally, Ayuji puts a finishing touch to this fantastic trip with ‘Heliopolis’, a swift, solar house gem mingling Detroit techno influences with some trance elements. Like an ultimate rush of dopamine at sunrise, just before the party draws to a close.

"We are thrilled to announce the release of our resident Shonen Bat’s first album. 
Following his involvement in our compilations and a few brief incursions across the Channel for our friends at Corrupt Data (see his EP “Shades of Disruption”) and GODDEZZ (see V/A “ON+ON+ON”), the 28-year-old producer from Reims eventually reaches the mark of the long-form, with flying colours indeed. In “Infinite Disorder”, he deftly conjugates techno influences, breakbeat, global club and electro with his distinctive rhythmic signature as well as outstanding futuristic aesthetic.

In twelve tracks, Shonen Bat demonstrates perfect mastery of sound design and narration in a fifty-minute opus with strains of solar punk, which resonates both on the dancefloor and your couch. 
An intertwinement of celestial voices, luxuriating pads and synthetic waterfalls with sharp beats and distorted bass precedes moments when the producer playfully stretches time with more ambient phases, before going for it again.
Among the top-flight tracks, you will find an ethereal anthem in “Artefacts”, speedy techno in “Western Nylon Fields”, and feisty breakbeats in “Automata”.

In this emotional roller coaster, the album constantly takes us back and forth between melancholy and euphory. 
Despite this duality symptomatic of our times, “Infinite Disorder” is undeniably a record of boundless optimism, at times bitter but always radiant. Take it as a kind of journal of a young raver who’s found his way through the philosophical values of a global rave culture, without borders, and humanistic."

The world was no longer under our control. Civilisation, as we knew it, didn't exist anymore. Towns and cities had been destroyed and what was left of humanity had moved underground, away from the powers that now controlled the earth. Could it have been prevented? It was too late now to ponder that question, but the sad reality was that we were likely the makers of our own demise - it was only a matter of time before technology took over.

Frust is the side project of neo-coldwave duo Blind Delon. Having released the first EP in their Stone series back in 2019, on the recently defunct Oraculo Records, the pair are now entrusting the second part to Letherique's Bella Ursa imprint. A perfect fit for the project's melting pot of haunting wave, electro and EBM, which is crafted with a DIY-minded approach and cinematic touch, the label steer Stone II out into the world this April.

The machinery came to a clattering halt, the sheer sound of it forcing the entire building to judder and shake. The factory had seen better days; the brickwork was crumbling away, the smell of dust and oil hung thick in the air and clung to your clothes. It was a wonder it still operated as it did, that it even opened on a daily basis or that it managed to retain enough staff to keeping things ticking over. Slowly but surely its purpose was becoming defunct, but it would cling on to life for as long as humanly possible...

Cyphon Recordings next signing have made a name for themselves under a number of different aliases. The Tijuana-based brother duo have had deep house outings as Soul of Hex and a debut as Mano De Fuego on Underground Resistance, but with this brand new project, Cyborg Nerve, their focus is firmly on electro. Balancing crystallised intergalactic cuts and raw, machine funk grooves, the EP is a triumphant introduction to the newest musical string to the Vicario Musique Recordings bow.

Those farmers were very committed.

The unstoppable Jay Robinson is breaking records on @NightBassRecords with his 9th EP, “LSD”. We’ve heard some incredible tunes from Robinson since the beginning and he continues to demonstrate his tenacious musical talent with this next release. “LSD” kicks off with the title track, a bouncy dance floor heater that sends you on a synth-fueled trip taking you right into the next track, an epic collaboration with the legendary @ToddEdwards3000 titled “The Provider”. This tune is the perfect amalgamation of a nice groovy beat and an instrumental 4x4, layered with Edward’s classic effervescent vocal work. Again and again, release after release, @djJayRobinson proves to be a house music boss.

Even a historical pandemic couldn't take summer hits away from our hearts. Exceptional circumstances means extraordinary compilation.

Worst Records' hall of fame welcomes new faces around the pool for a 13-stages enlightened drama. You'll meet again with the top 3 podium made of A Strange Wedding, Jacques Satre and Christian Coiffure, all rensponsible for our first three releases, building up a mesmerizing, out of season mental workout. Extending the dimension of trance towards Saint-Etienne, Del.Duc brings on a curious yet serene astral travel, and we can also count on the distant reinforcements from the Toulouse Gouffre Club crew with Jan Loup and her glitch spangled hazy dub from far futures and the new trance comer from Bordeaux, Lazuli.
Special friends are also gathering here, as Myako is sewing on thin fabric a vaporous dub in shades of grey, the one-and-only master touki Théo Muller delivers a cinematic remedy to confinement.
Liberation through hearing, it is, as borders explode with the presence of many : Yin Yang Audio in a transatlantic IDM/break jump, Forest on Stasys (aka Mental Resonance) and his tough shamanic dance, Clemens Friedrich slowing down all senses at once and JEANS, boss of Oracle Bones, speeding us up in the hyperloop.
Finally, as teamwork means a lot, we have given the pleasure to open this compilation to the four-headed Lausanne/Freiberg hydra 4POTR and their cryptic transdimensional message, and the honor of closing this pool party to the 404 trio gem from Candoblé with a fine piece of wonder.

Not exactly your usual summer compilation, nor the hits you could imagine, but surely the music you'll need under the hot sun of 2020.
