Delsin is such a major label of electronic music, it would be too long to enumerate the artists who collaborated on it. The list is impressive and endless, just think about Redshape, Newworldaquarium, John Beltran, Delta Funktionen, Claro Intelecto, Voiski or $tinkworx to name a few we truly like. The Amsterdam-based imprint started in the mid 90’s to spread its impeccable taste and continues the job today making his mark on international techno scene. Simultaneously with french artist Shlømo release "In Absentia : Tome 1" , British producer Tom Dicicco, boss of Run Out Run and Inner Surface Music, signs his debut "Shadows & Tears EP" on Delsin, opening with this glowing and melancholic housey "Extracting The Error" track while the rest of the ep is focused on a darker techno, menacing and industrial. A varied ep highly recommended !  Out on May 09, 2016.

PREMIERE : Tom Dicicco - Extracting The Error

In their first official release (discounting the sweet, whitelabel Casino Edits 2) since their full-length album on Wolf Music, Familiar Circles, London-based duo @Casino-Times has teamed up with Swedish imprint @Omena-records for a four track EP. The label, run by @Tooli of @LocalTalk fame, has a sound that could best be characterized as whimsical and airy, with cheerful chord progressions and rare rhythms often decorating their tracks. The Decoded EP sees Casino Times’ pensive, layered electronic sound combining rather well with the label’s aesthetic.

The B1 track  “Simulation Bamboo” has an 80s electro inspired drum kit being layered with celestial and moody synth riffs and well-arranged strings. Perhaps the track title does a bit of foreshadowing in this case, as the piece contains an interesting combination of electronic and eastern colors. The song is at once both ominous and bright in mood, and could equally be seen soundtracking a roadtrip as much as it could the early AM segment of an emotional warehouse bash.

Astropolis festival launches a new label to support the local since: DÔME. Contrary to Astropolis Records, this sublabel will be entirely dedicated to the local scene, following the festival’s open call that selects each year since 2003 around 20 young artists from Western France to perform on its summer edition. Ravy electro, sunrise house, warped club music or hammering techno, it will gather all this beautiful family across all aesthetics and great artists we met from past editions, between emerging talents and cornerstones. Watch it!

The first various EP is a four-track EP from sunrise house to robotic and fast electro, that gathers four brillant producers from the West, Ringard, Théo Muller, A-Sim and Unklevon. A perfect blend between happy dances and peaktime madness for the summer, an eclectic rave taste that embodies Astropolis festival spirit and this creative and boiling scene from Western France.

First track is this very nice hypnotic dance from Dance Around 88’s boss Ringard and Britanny’s house key figure. Solar, daring and emotional, « Bis Repetita Placent » will teleport you straight to an early morning souvenir from Astropolis festival, when the sun rises and y’all smiling in front our beloved Manor. A classy track that tastes summer and beautiful vibes. 

Passionate selector, huge collector for more than 10 years, /RAW/ parties creator but especially great producer, Ringard is one of deep and raw house finest underground producers in France, particularly with his own label, Dance Around 88 to release his own productions but also his friends (Laroze, Trudge, Blutch, Dj Psychiatre, Signal ST…). He signs a house with many faces : deep, dreamy, raw, solar… but each time very classy. Each release made some noise in the diggers’ sphere and this track shouldn’t deviates the formula!
