I grew up in a family of musicians in Aledo, Texas. When I was 17, I became interested in electronic dance music, and excited about home music production with DAW’s like Logic Pro and FL Studio. Early influences were #ATB, #DaftPunk, #ArminVanBuuren, #Tiesto, #EricPrydz, #BennyBenassi, #Basshunter, and the composers of my favorite game soundtracks. 
 
In 2007 I shifted my focus to an accounting career while in college at Texas Tech and I actually worked full time as a CPA and auditor in Dallas, TX from 2011 to 2020. During this time I found the resources and intent to pursue my passion in music once again; I discovered my own sound and began producing and releasing music as DCPA. After nearly 5 years of living a dual life, in 2020 I left my accounting career in Dallas Texas in order to move to Austin Texas for a full time go at the music industry! I'm doing live shows at several different venues as well as private events in Austin now!

Award-winning producer, songwriter, DJ & artist Damon Sharpe has been involved with the production of albums that cumulatively have reached nearly 4 billion streams. He has worked with the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande, Loud Luxury, Pitbull, Alesso, Kylie Minogue, Kelly Rowland, Flo Rida, DVBBS, Kaaze and many others. His songs have been featured in feature films, television shows and commercials around the world.

As a DJ/Artist he has had releases on Armada, Hood Politics, Hysteria, Sony, MixMash, Insomniac, DirtyWorkz, LoudKult and more and has performed around the world at festivals and clubs such as EDC, ADE and SXSW.
