DJ Steve Supreme von Supremus Sounds - einer der erfolgreichsten Schweizer DJs und sein Label. Wie alles begann? Mit den West Indies, seiner grossen Schwester und Michael Jacksons Video zu Thriller.

Man schreibt das Jahr 1983. Klein Steve, damals 5 Jahre alt, sitzt mit seiner älteren, total musikbegeisterten Schwester vor dem Fernseher und verfolgt gebannt die ersten Musikvideos, die über den neuen Sender MTV ausgestrahlt werden. Welches Video ihm damals am meisten imponierte? Ganz klar "Thriller" von Michael Jackson! Supreme wurde jedoch nicht nur von MTV, sondern auch von seinem Vater beeinflusst. Dieser stammt aus den West Indies, spielte Gitarre und prägte seine Kinder mit seiner musikalischen Ader.

Den Grundstein für seine Karriere legte Steve, als er im Alter von 15 Jahren zwei Plattenspieler der Marke Technics aus den USA importieren liess. Zusammen mit Kollegen begann er zu experimentieren und zu üben. "Häsch es richtigs Erfolgserläbnis, wenn serstmal zwei Beats überenand leisch und sie au suber überenand liget!" Das Spiel mit dem schwarzen Gold wurde schnell zu einer Leidenschaft, die fortan sein Leben prägte.

Heute ist DJ Steve Supreme einer der erfolgreichsten Schweizer DJs. Seine Spezialitäten sind seine technische Versiertheit und das Auflegen im Open Format:  Hip Hop, R'n'B, Disco, House, Electro und Rock - alles was tanzbar ist, wird gespielt! Dabei wird jedes Set vor Ort individuell der Crowd angepasst. Sein Erfolg orientiert sich dann auch nicht an den Landesgrenzen, sondern geht weit darüber hinaus. So hat er schon in den grossen Jetset Clubs von NY, Las Vegas, Miami und Ibiza gespielt, ganz nach dem Motto: Sky is the limit!

Doch Steve Supreme ist nicht nur Club-DJ, sondern betreibt ein eigenes DJ-Label mit der Agentur Supremus Sounds,  sowie eine eigene Radioshow beim Schweizer Sender  Radio 105 und BM Radio Deutschland. Zudem ist er auch als Produzent tätig und hat in Zusammenarbeit mit Universal Music Schweiz schon einige CDs herausgegeben.

Wie DJ Steve Supreme es so weit gebracht hat? Steve war schon früh davon überzeugt, einmal in den USA Musik spielen zu werden. Seine Weitsicht, sein Vertrauen in sich selbst und vor allem die Leidenschaft, mit welcher er die Kunst des DJ Daseins praktiziert, haben ihm dazu verholfen aus seinem Hobby eine Berufung  zu machen.

Steve Supreme feels, loves and lives his sound. Music was and always will be present. At the tender age of 6 years funky vibes from the states like: Chacka Khan, the Jackson 5, and Diana Ross
fascinated him. It was the rhythm and the passion of the artists that enchanted him.

The beat of Steve's heart always did favor black music; Hip Hop, R&B, Funk, Soul, Disco and Reggae. Still he is able to let House and Electronic Music take over his fresh sets to add an extra spice to the club he’s playing at.
At present time Supreme playes regularly at Locations like Mascotte Zurich, Pravda in Lucerne, Bar Rouge in Basel or Trischli Club in St. Gallen. For those who have been part of one of these Events know what this DJ is capable of. Steve Supreme is widely known. He played Sets in other Countries like Germany, Croatia, Sweden and the USA. Asia and South America already showed interest too.

Radio Show’s aren’t any new terrain for him. At Radio Tropic he had an own Radio Show a couple of years ago. In the meantime he had lots of guest appearances on Radios like Radio Energy, Radio Lora, Alistradio NYC / Goom Radio NYC and today he is part of the Radio 105 DJ Team.

He released several Mixtapes and was able to work with Universal Music for a couple of Compilations. Studio Sessions are occurring weekly and in the future probably more often. Supreme is know to play his Music at Parties with Guests like Jay-Z, Beyonce, Wesley Snipes, Jay-K (Jamiroquai) or other Stars, which isn’t rare.

Steve is the complete package, influenced by the music and the experiences of yesterday, he plays at some of the hottest locations where he instantaneously makes the crowd party harder and the DJs following his lineup worry that everything they can do just got overshadowed with what he did. However, he is mainly the DJ of tomorrow. Steve Supreme has the exceptional talent where he feels what the people want to hear and the ability to make the time at the club turn into an unforgettable experience for everyone.
