UK based artist Descrai creates experimental ambient music which attempts to positively distract. Distraction is more valuable that the name suggests, and through open ambient soundscapes incorporating a combination of synthesis, sampling, acoustic instrumentation and natural field recordings, his work sets out to urge the listener to find a self-determined amount of distraction from the non-negotiable day-to-day noise we all encounter. 
Originally from Birmingham, UK, surrounded by a musical family of all styles whilst growing up, a love for experimental music was found as a consequence of this accumulation of various influences. Descrai’s own work developed more towards the experimental ambient composition side of things, in particular the love for creating textures and a space of which a listener could find unique emotions with each listen. 
Additionally to his own compositional work, noted by Bandcamp as "Delightful atmospheric ambience, perfect for sailing away from your sorrows", working on various audio-visual concepts within the setting of exhibitions and game scoring has further tuned his approach towards his own composition in attempting to setup the opportunity for self-defined ‘scenes' to be found through his music.
