We are delighted to introduce the man who will be the star this summer here at MM Discos and one of the best young talents from Tokyo's inexhaustible factory of DJs.

Daichi, a digger and DJ, born and raised in Enoshima, felt a passion for music, DJing, and collecting records from a very young age. He has left his personal mark on legendary clubs in Japan and Korea, such as Rainbow Disco Club and Oppa-La, where he is said to have been the youngest DJ to perform, delivering a memorable 7-hour set at under 20 years old.

Daichi lands at MM Discos with a collection of 6 edits that bring us heat and a strong desire to hit the dance floor, sure to make a mark at upcoming festivals.

In this first volume, Daichi presents "See of Cosmic" and "Dampness", navigating between house, trance, and the most cosmic sounds delivering 2 totally unclassifiable and highly danceable tracks, pure fire for your legs.

For the first Edit of the label, @oltrefuturo edits DMX Krew´s single "The Wiggly Worm" from the 2018 EP of the same name and released via Super Rythm Trax.


For this Edit, Oltrefuturo kept the original groove while slowing it down and doing what he loves doing for his own craft: a Trance A Lento sub 100bpm, subjugating the bass and vocals curling up nicely with the subtle percussive elements.  The listener is brought straight into a cosmic realm that could be either pictured as a monk ceremony in a temple in the Himalaya or a transcendental dance of the incas on top of the Machu Piccu. 

In the andante, we believe. Opening or closing : this is your call.

Hot on the heels of A Promise In The Cold Night, LVCA returns to Bordello A Parigi with The Wanderer. Building on his diverse and unique style, genre cross-pollination sits at the heart of this four tracker. 

Renowned for his analogue live sets, LVCA’s passion for the machine smoulders on this EP. Acid, electro and new beat are central tenets, with the synthesizer taking centre stage. A litany of influences is drawn upon. 

Crashing snares countered by bright bars, melodic swirls threatened by machined vocals, drum rolls and key stabs marking shifts of intent. Speaker cones conjure late night basements, darker shades churn and melt in the fog and strobe. And throughout, genres and styles converge. 

Chicago house thaws the frigid severity of wave, italo echoes offering a distant warmth against colder tones taking hold. A 12” that illustrates the dynamic depth and the vibrancy of a true talent.

LVCA - Opium [Bordello A Parigi]

In a small gastro studio selling fermented products, a biological revolution takes place. The good bacteria stop working and no more products turn sour. Danilas, the manager of the tannery, who has spent his whole life among the bacteria, suddenly hears their voice. They are angry. Bacteria are fed up with exploitation, want equal rights, and threaten the world: "People need bacteria, and we don't need people."

The fermentation process is vital for humans, but the rights of bacteria sound absurd. Will Danilas be able to make people sympathize with another species – an alien species – and its needs? First he will have to convince two members of the tannery syndicate, Fatima and Jie, who take a much more pragmatic view of the crisis. This story is a test of empathy for humans.
