Allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Cesar "Buda" Lugo aka djcheekystar. I am the CEO of "Buda Ink" Marketing & Promotions.

I have been breaking new music since 1991 when I first interned for Al Pizarro at the legendary VIP Record Pool in The Bronx. I worked alongside the most influential music industry insiders in the business that include; Steve Rifkind (LOUD REC), Kedar Massenburg (KEDAR ENT.), Gaby Acevedo (FRENCH MONTANA). As a Indy Street Team company some of  my successful marketing & promotional projects included: Geto Boys, Mr. Scarface, Snoop Dogg, Dr.Dre, Luniz, Nas, 50Cent, Wu - Tang, Ghostface killa, Mobb Deep, Big Pun, Tony Touch, Mr. Vegas, Pitbull, Juvenile, Nelly, Akon and French Montana.

 In 2004 I began to work alongside Elias DeLeon (White Lion Music) and other Puerto Rico based record labels as part of the driving force that helped cross over Latin Urban artist from Puerto Rico to US mainland. These artist include: Tego Calderon, Julio Voltio, Zion and Lennox, Calle 13, Tito el Bambino, Yomo, Cosculluela and De La Ghetto.

I am currently the x-over marketing & radio Indy in the U.S.for White lion Under Elias De Leon in Puerto Rico, and GEEZY BOYZ ENT for the artist De La Ghetto.

My goals are to provide Tropical/Latin Urban Dj's and radio stations that play a combination of Latin and American formats in their mix and programing with the proper service and attention deemed mostly to urban and top 40 DJs and Radio . My objective is to bridge the music gap between the Anglo record labels and the Latino Club and Mix show radio DJs in the US and the Caribbean.

Moving Forward:
My system will gain DJs, Radio and Brands access to the most current artist and their music as it is being released hot off the press, including clean and explicit edits, as well as instrumentals and acapella MP3/WAV's, I will help facilitate VDJ with Videos edits of all artist being worked on my end. You can count on Buda Ink as your music industry liaison in order to obtain artist drops, live or call in interviews and custom versions of songs(Based on artist availability).
