Hey Folks, today we share the wonderful podcast signed by Second Section. 

David Maurer (aka Second Section) is an Austrian-born DJ & producer and was already musically influenced as a child. At the age of 9 he showed enormous enthusiasm for the piano and is still playing it. He developed his passion for electronic music shortly after his 16th birthday. Dave has been very active in the drum & bass / jungle scene for 10 years now. He is known for his dedication to autonomic, minimal, atmospheric and breaky bits. His style has already inspired people in locations & festivals such as Membrain Festival, Noise Test, Grelle Forelle Wien, Fluc Wien, Flex Wien, Dachsbau Innsbruck, Rockhouse Salzburg, Stadtwerkstatt Linz, LOCO Soundclub Villach, Sakog Kulturwerk, Bunker Graz & many more.. He is also A&R for the P LAB Recordings label & resident at their well-known events. The love for ambient music, downtempo, deep cinematic soundscapes and organic textures started a few years ago. 

This is his first mix in this direction, enjoy it!

On The Nature Of Daylight is an absolutely stunning piece by Max Richter that I just had to try my hand at remixing. In this track I attempted to incorporate a deep groove that will get people moving, while still maintaining the emotion of the strings throughout.

"I've had my head tilted up to the stars for as long as I can remember. You know what surprised me the most? It wasn't meeting them. It was meeting you."

Torn out of my thoughts, I look to the left and am irritated, actually disturbed, how reality decided to unwind itself.

"It's me, Magdalena. We talked to each other in the dark."

Too many things are going on inside me at the same time. On the one hand, I am overwhelmed by being approached by the overwhelmingly pretty girl from the beginning of the evening. On the other hand, she
knows my name and I have entrusted my deepest thoughts to her. 

How can that be? How did she recognize me?

- This is an excerpt from a German short story in preparation. This piece will be used as a background track for the mini audio-book "The Magdalena Effect".

It uses Maschine Packs and the Diva synthesizer for all lead and pad sounds. Wrapped up in Ableton. Enjoy.
