Raterrius Gee (born July 29, 1995), better known by his stage name as Rara, is an up and coming rap/R&B artist/producer from Starkville, MS. He is also known by his former stage name Y.A. At an early age he was always interested in music and writing poetry. When he was 12 he began going to the recording studio with his dad. There he watched and learned from his dad and other local artist how the write his own songs. Soon after he began to produce and mix his own records. Throughout his teens he released and performed many songs & mixtapes including "Swagga Music" & "Play-Dough Swagga Music". In late 2014 he released "Small City Big Dreams" a collaboration mixtape with his dad Rob G. In December 2014 he released his hit single "That's Bae", which gained over 26k plays on souncloud and continuing to buzz. It quickly started a social media trend with that hash tag #ThatsBae. The popularity and request of the song gave him the title "Mr. That’s Bae". In March 2015 he released "Small City Big Dreams: Reloaded" a collaboration album with his dad. He is currently geared to release his solo mixtape "Gunz or Butta". He spends countless hours in the studio each day and night perfecting his craft. He is also being booked and performing at venues almost every weekend. Be on the lookout for more to come from Rara.
