Nuevo podcast disponible con la actuación completa de Ivankovà, proyecto en solitario de la artista y compositora Irene de la Cueva, en la tercera edición de #LEVMatadero, en la que reinterpretó su último álbum Mogut’ Yun [Eternal Recordings, 2021] partiendo de la propuesta visual del artista multidiscilpinar Álvaro Choir. 
A través del mantra y la repetición en composiciones de largo desarrollo, nos invita a transitar por paisajes sonoros que encarnan su visión particular del espectro gótico y la fantasía neo medieval, en los que largos drones de órgano analógico, sintetizadores y etéreas composiciones vocales son protagonistas.

New podcast available with Ivankovà’s live show, solo project by artist and composer Irene de la Cueva, in the third edition of #LEVMatadero, where she reinterpreted her latest album 'Mogut ’Yun' [Eternal Recordings, 2021] taking as her starting point the visual proposal of multidisciplinary artist Álvaro Choir. 

Using mantra and repetition in long-developed compositions, she invites us to travel through soundscapes that embody her particular vision of the Gothic spectrum and neo-medieval fantasy, in which long analog organ drones, synthesizers and ethereal vocal compositions are the protagonists.

dot tape dot presentó su particular universo sonoro en la edición 15 Aniversario de #LEVFestival a través de dos conciertos en el Muséu del Pueblu d’Asturies, que contaron con la participación de la recién creada Agrupación Coral Expandida De Gijón. Este conjunto de jóvenes entre 13 y 16 años trabajó con el músico en los días previos a las actuaciones, aprendiendo técnicas avanzadas sobre el tratamiento vocal (autotune, vocoder, looping…) y técnicas avanzadas de creación musical electrónica (sintetizadores, efectos, cajas de ritmos…), además de trabajo en equipo, auto-organización y toma de decisiones.

dot tape dot presented his particular sound universe at the 15th Anniversary edition of #LEVFestival with two concerts at the Muséu del Pueblu d'Asturies, which included the participation of the recently created Agrupación Coral Expandida De Gijón. This group of young people between 13 and 16 years old worked with the musician in the days before the performances, learning advanced techniques on vocal treatment (autotune, vocoder, looping ...) and advanced techniques for electronic music creation (synthesizers, effects, boxes of rhythms…), in addition to teamwork, self-organization and decision-making.

En la edición 15 aniversario de #LEVFestival, Fasenuova ofreció un directo con la participación de la artista visual y creadora digital Marta Verde, en el que presentaron nuevos, contundentes y afilados sonidos como su último single Arma [Humo, 2021], un grito a la vida vertiginosa de nuestro tiempo.

El dúo de Mieres, formado por Ernesto Avelino y Roberto Lobo, cuenta con una de las trayectorias sonoras más ferozmente personales e inimitables que ha dado la electrónica de este país. Más tangibles y materiales que nunca, presentan en este concierto otros timbres, sintetizadores y elementos rítmicos que luchan con la voz de Ernesto, en una emocionante vuelta a los escenarios, tras cinco años de silencio editorial, que atrapó al público y quedará para el recuerdo de todos los asistentes.

In the 15th Anniversary edition of #LEVFestival, Fasenuova performed a live show with the collaboration of the visual artist and digital creator Marta Verde, where the presented new, forceful and sharp sounds like their latest single Arma [Humo, 2021], a cry to the dizzying life of our time.

This duo from Mieres, formed by Ernesto Avelino and Roberto Lobo, has developed one of the most fiercely personal and inimitable sound trajectories that electronic music in this country has seen. More tangible and present than ever, they presented in this concert other timbres, synthesizers and rhythmic elements fighting with Ernesto's voice, in an unforgettable and exciting comeback after five years of editorial silence that captured the public and will echo in the memory of everyone present.

Nuevo podcast disponible con la actuación completa de BROMO en la tercera edición de #LEVMatadero, en la que el combo formado por Paloma Peñarrubia en el concepto musical y Azael Ferrer en el desarrollo visual nos llevó en un viaje inmersivo a través del espacio.. 

Su trabajo No Signal presenta un recorrido por los principales hechos de estudio de las grandes Agencias Aeroespaciales: avances, retrocesos y posibles consecuencias de estos objetivos. Porque hablar del espacio es hablar de la condición humana.

La propuesta va más allá de un directo audiovisual de música experimental y arte generativo, traspasando la habitual capacidad ‘decorativa’ para convertirse en parte indiscutible de su discurso escénico, musical y estético.

New podcast available with BROMO’s live show in the third edition of #LEVMatadero, in which this combo formed by Paloma Peñarrubia in the musical concept and Azael Ferrer in the visual development took us on an immersive journey throughout space. 

With their work No Signal, we travel through the main study subjects of large Aerospace Agencies: discoveries, setbacks and possible consequences of these discoveries. Because talking about space is talking about the human condition.

This proposal goes beyond a live AV show of experimental music and generative art, surpassing the usual ‘decorative’ capacity to become an indisputable part of his scenic, musical and aesthetic discourse.

Jailed Jamie, el nuevo proyecto de Jaime Tellado (aka Skygaze), fue el mejor cierre posible de la jornada de la pasada edición en Gijón en el Muséu del Pueblu d’Asturies. Se trataba de la presentación de su primera referencia (jailed jamie, rave tools, autoeditado, 2019), homenaje actualizado al segundo verano del amor, una revisión del concepto “Rave”, ampliado y definido por un cocktail de géneros e influencias.
Breaks clásicos procesados, glitches, ambientes narcóticos, atmósferas densas, stabs propias del clásico UK hardcore, bajos gordos o progresiones ácidas, una mezcla explosiva que además contó en la parte final del directo con la participación de Helios Amor. 
Grandísimo recuerdo de esta jornada!

Jailed Jamie, Jaime Tellado’s new project (aka Skygaze), was the best possible ending for our 2019 edition Gijón. This was the premiere of his first reference (jailed jamie, rave tools, self-published, 2019), an updated tribute to the second summer of love, a review of the concept “Rave”, expanded and defined by a cocktail of genres and influences. Processed classic breaks, glitches, narcotic atmospheres, dense atmospheres, typical stabs from the classic UK hardcore, fat bass or acid progressions are some of the ingredients of the new project of the Asturian producer whose presentation is reserved for the lev festival this year.⠀

La creadora del paisaje sonoro de este planeta virtual, trazado a través de la interacción de factores como el sonido de parajes asturianos y sonidos originales captados por la NASA, así como el propio imaginario de LEV Festival, nos hará embarcar en un viaje audiovisual a través de una actuación en directo que se emitirá en streaming desde Laboral Ciudad de la Cultura, y que irá acompañada de un recorrido visual por la naturaleza del planeta realizado especialmente para la ocasión por sus creadores Children of Cyberspace.

Podrás verlo en el canal de Youtube del Festival el miércoles 23 a las 21.00h.
