Muzikos garsų kelionėje veikia keturi gamtos elementai: oras, vanduo, ugnis ir žemė. Muzikos garsų laukas kuriamas, naudojant senovinius muzikos instrumentus, surinktus iš keturių žemynų: Amerikos indėnų šamanišką būgną, indėnų fleitą, švilpynę, barškučius, Tibeto dainuojančius dubenis, australišką didžeridu, Rytų šalių varpus bei kitus muzikos instrumentus, kurie turi unikalias vibracijas. Muzikos instrumentus papildo gerklinis, dar vadinamas obertoniniu arba sielos, dainavimas.

Muzikos garsų terapiją ir meditaciją veda Vinetu genties dvasiniai vedliai – Jurgita (Mėlynoji Gyvatė), Mindaugas (Vinetu), Deividas (Bėgantis Jautis). Nuo 2006 metų „Vinetu kaime“ puoselėjamos Šiaurės Amerikos indėnų tradicijos, įkurtas gyvosios indėnų istorijos muziejus po atviru dangumi. Rengiami ritualai, į kuriuos atvyksta svečių iš įvairių pasaulio šalių: Amerikos indėnų čiabuviai, Sibiro tautų žiniuoniai ir kt.

Recorded live at Ecstatic Dance Zürich weekly Fridays on July 1, 2022, during my first few hours in Switzerland ever!

It was a long journey to get there and I arrived just hours before the dance began. 

After taking a couple of weeks to explore the UK and recording 3 online Astrology trainings, I thought it would be easy to book a direct flight to Zurich from Brighton. Though I was very wrong.

I ended up having to wake up with only a couple of hours of light sleep to catch a 4:30 am bus to the further away airport. It was raining so I had to catch a taxi to the bus station. Once I got to Heathrow it was the longest waiting line I've ever experienced at an airport. Then I had a layover in Stuttgart, Germany, which meant I had to go through customs and check back in again. Which meant waiting in more lines. Once I finally arrived in Zurich I met a local who helped me figure out which tram to take and then walked several blocks with two suitcases of luggage.

... Upon arriving at the beautiful old stone building and finding my way upstairs to the hall where we would dance, I immediately melted and knew it would be a great dance that night. The location is a sacred space that hosts religious events sometimes. 

I helped set up and found out that we would be using a brand new sound system with circular speakers. I met who I would be collaborating with on the welcoming warm-ups and the closing acoustic songs and it all flowed beautifully from there.

There is a specialness when a community has been dancing together for many years on a consistent basis. This dance has been held weekly since 2015 and with a space that beautiful it was pure magic. So lovely to meet so many beautiful people and play music while the Sun went down and the colored lights came on in the hall. 

Since there was a new sound setup I had to set up the DJ table off to the side of the stage level with the dancers. This was sweet to be right there with them and the stage was left for an alter.

It was a vibrant and special night. The perfect first introduction to the Zürich dance community and Switzerland. 

This set is two hours long with two waves infused with deep bass beginnings, and textured house peaks. There's some American pop thrown in for fun, with a Latin and African theme found throughout. Enjoy the long blends and have as much fun as I did listening at home.

Artists include Axel Thesleff, Mixwell, Maugli, German Brigante, Savej, Entheo, Luckey, Ayla Nereo, Jungle Kitchen, and remixes of Beyonce and Kelis.

ECSTATIC DANCE ISRAEL 2022

Recorded live on the Odessa Boat in Amsterdam on August 5, 2022. My debut set in Amsterdam.

This set is almost entirely brand new music! Released within days or at most a few weeks of this dance experience. 

It was an honor and pleasure to be the captain of the dance on the famed Odessa Boat. Where we are onboard a boat in an Amsterdam canal.

The Netherlands is actually below sea level and on the inside of the boat, we are halfway submerged under the water when on the dancefloor. We could see the water level out of the round windows until they were too steamy to see out of because of the juicy dance vibes.

The first wave of this set is a soulful selection of steady-beat songs. Where we rode the rhythm and got into the flow. The second wave is a Bass heavy deep dive into ice cracking, glitchy, tidal waves of juicy vibrations pouring down like rain and finally drops into melty, gooey goodness. We washed back up like on a sea shore together feeling cleansed and purified.

The night began with a cacao ceremony song circle on the upper deck with the incredible Leonie Bos and concluded in the depths of the dancehall with some sweet songs afterward as well. 

This set includes artists such as Sol Selectas, SavaBorsa, Deya Dova, Clozee, Scott Nice, Populous, Ayla Nereo, Ayla Shafer, and a James Brown remix.

They say there are people
walking among us
who once lived in an ocean of water
and swam through an ocean of consciousness
as if ocean, and body, and universe, were all the same thing.

These oceanic beings-- let us call them whale, were connected 
To the cloud beings whose tears watered Earth
To the rooted ones, whose hearts healed Earth
And to the land walkers, who sang, chanted, and spoke Earth into being. 

And once upon a time
those ocean beings
and land walkers
were kindreds. 

as the most ancient story of the universe lived through them
It is that story that brings us together tonight 
a story about 
giving
and receiving. 

In this ancient story …
When the land walkers asked for a life
The whale beings gave a life

A when gratitude was offered…
A pathway between body and spirit was forged 
An exchange was made

As The spirit of the whale 
was invited to live through the body of the land walkers, 

in this way
Even death 
led to more life 

This was not written down. 
There was no signing of a contract. 
It was just known. 
Until one day… it wasn’t


The agreement was broken.  


And 
When this ancient law of the universe 
Of asking, giving, receiving, gratitude 
-- was broken

A curse was cast on the land walkers:

The more they took, 
the hungrier they get. 

They say that is when Greed was born. 
But that is another story. 

In this story—
Some of those whale beings, 
Decided they weren’t going to join the death march led by Killing and Greed that was slaughtering their aunts and uncles, murdering their mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers. 

They were going to make good on the ancient agreement between their ancestors 
So they decided to leave their oceanic world 
So they could walk again on earth through the bodies of the descendants of those ancestors. 

Because they would need to walk among the two leggeds
to put an end to those who were interrupting the flow of life.


But the old ones warned them: 
you can’t kill the being that is killing 
and get to the source 
of what is living through them.  

When you Get to the source of their anguish
you will get to the source of what is causing the disruption of life –
THAT is what you must hunt down

And the elders warned them
It is dangerous going from one world to another: 
There is the risk of forgetting who and what you are in the process

And then they warned them: 
You can’t rush to show the truth of who and what you really are
you must be patient and wait

Because the disruption you will face has become very powerful
And there is strength in numbers and you will need others to protect you. 
They youngers whales thanked the elders for their warnings

Because you see, (the elders explained) 

you are not alone on this mission
There will be others 
The fairy folk will join you: they have a bone or two to pick with those takers
And the elphan will be there, cleverly disguised, no longer willing to be stepped on or over. 
The plant deities will start speaking through the voices of humans
The mer people will rise and walk among you
And the dragons will fly again

Look for the signs 
for when Earth recognizes that enough of you have made it through, 
She will shake awake all who are still forgetting

Now of course there is no guarantee 
how long it will take
or that everyone will arrive
or .. that you will make it out alive.

And you look into the eyes of elders
And you listen 
before you speak
you are loved
You have always been loved
And you will always be love.

Not the best of mixable transitions as this was a set done on the fly and I threw together as the crowd vibed, still had a hell of a time and it was wildly loud enough for no one to hear the bloopers.
