A potion. A formula. Written by hand in a book with pressed flowers.

This is vsthecaveman were an acoustic band I sing and drum my brother is on acoustic guitar and my best friend on acoustic bass. These recordings I’ve decided to put up are just jams we’ve done I plan to make some of them songs. They are recorded from I phone so basically these are just rough drafts take them with a grain of salt it just gives you an idea of what’s to come.

Local musicians who enjoy some recording on the side, to allow other local musicians the opportunity to create great demo and live albums for their fans.

Everything you hear on my tracks is done 100% live and done in one shot.  I use all analog equipment and run every thing through a Roland/Boss 50 loop machine...I use LP and CP hand percussion drums and a wide variety of percussion "bells and whistles" ...I use a Roland HP 10 hand drum pad, a Roland TR 8, a Roland TB 3, a Dave Smith Mophro keys synth, 2 Alesis effects processors that I run my Audix Fusion mics (and other mics) through from my hand drums and my Ibanez "untuned pawnshop" bass guitar through, I have a Kaosillator Pro and a Kaosillator Quad, I also have a Dell laptop that I run samples and sound effects and spoken word poetry through.  

ALL of those things are input into a Eurorack unpowered 16 channel mixer...then the two outputs from the mixer simply get put into the inputs on my Roland/Boss 50 loop machine then the 2 outputs from the loop machine are put into my phone through a Tascam interface recorder and I use the Recorder Pro "app" on my phone to record then upload to Sound Cloud. 

I do NO mixing and mastering or retracking or rerecording after the fact...everything is done live and on the fly.  Some of my tracks are me starting from scratch using patterns/beats from my Kaosillator Pro, TB 8, TR 3,  and other instruments to create an initial phrase on my loop machine, Some tracks are recorded after I have layered a few phrases then I play live over top of everything as well as turn different phrases on and off as needed to create dynamics and changes.  I can vary the legnth of the first phrase, it is never preprogrammed.  I can then use second and third phrases on my loop machine and turn them on and off as well as play along with it live as it records.

I am really wanting comments on my tracks...please excuse and disregard the poor recording quality, I am aware of that issue....but it will improve due to me now having a better and easier way to record and upload!!!  

I really want feedback on the overall content of what I am doing.

I hope you enjoy my stuff.  I have all of my gear set up in my house and I go in there and get it rolling and if I like it then I will take some time to make a recording.
