With a brand new single 'I Love Only You' out now on his own SoSilly Records we asked @jerk-boy to deliver a Worship Mix of an artist or a label which has been hugely influential in his own career. He picked one that is very close to our own heart in the shape of the compendium of labels and producer that make up Boys Own / Junior Boys Own and Jus' Trax. The mix is proper as you would very much expect from both Jerk Boy who is dynamite behind the decks and also with such an incredible discography to choose from.

Almost Famous is a Berlin based DJ. Growing up with 90s hip hop, he gradually found his way to house and disco music through funk and soul. While he always had a passion for sharing music and collecting records, he started DJing only a few years back. 

What started as a gig for fun at a friend’s birthday party slowly but surely developed into a real passion for mixing music on a regular basis. Together with a couple of friends, Almost Famous organizes and hosts ‘Not In My House’ and ‘Disko, No Disko’, both recurring club nights at Humboldthain Club in Berlin.

Straight from the 80s, bringing the Disco & House tunes back on the dance floors. Pack your funky shirts and get ready! Still not a star, but Almost Famous.

Daydream Disco Mix Series - 018 - Almost Famous

Sound Support, made up of Lars Dales & Lorenz Rhode, released their first two EP son Prins Thomas’ Internasjonal, then appeared on House of Disco, Let’s Play House and Permanent Vacation. Now arriving on Will Saul’s Aus Music imprint, the duo have delivered an EP spanning House, Italo, Electro and beyond, showcasing their unique ability to craft fun and well-considered dance music. To help showcase this release, they've stepped in to provide us with a stunning guest mix.

"We made this mix in the studio together and we had a blast finding a bit more house oriented selection. Our AUS and Toy Tonics releases just dropped and they’re both more house than our regular stuff, so our heads are in that space. We’ve tried to make it fun, not too lighthearted, and finished with a bang (3 of our own tracks back to back)."

@reecejohnsonmsc is an artist we have kept a close eye on since his distinctive track Newt Life landed on Marcel Vogel's Lumberjacks In Hell back in 2018. Since then he has been a man posessed releasing some serious club ammo on the likes of Moment Cinetique, Robsoul, Tropical Disco and Hot Digits.

His latest see's him land on Midnight Riot with the excellent disco house groover Have Faith with it's head turning synth lines and a classy vocal from Vanessa Jackson and a super smooth Yam Who? Remix.
