The mysterious @frescoedits has become a real go-to label over the last three years, now on it's seventh edition, it's a disco edits label which keeps things firmly on the funky edge of the spectrum. 

Never one to rehash well worn classics the mysterious producer behind the label definitely puts the work in digging deep and continually coming up with real gems.

Ahead of the release of Vol 7, the first volume from other artists, I spoke to Fresco Edits about the label and he also put together a rather tasty live mix for us recorded at the beach in his home town. The first time I caught @samredmore was in the mix for Craig Charles BBC Radio 6 Funk and Soul show and it was a bit of a wow moment. That he is an extremely talented DJ is an understatement.

He is also a very accomplished artist and currently has a brilliant album Universal Vibrations out via the spiciest of UK labels @jalapeno-records.

With a great single 'One More Time' out now and a new single dropping on the 21st we spoke to Sam about his career and he also put together this brilliant mix for us. Our last guest feature this year and it’s a corker! Our first ever Italian feature on the series and Da Lukas is a nu Disco DJ/Producer that doesn’t really need much introduction. 

A highly respected, well established Dj and Producer from Italy. With his unique style, blending electronic sounds blended with the funkiest of grooves, Da Lukas brings the perfect balance of House & Disco to move a dancefloor, and his productions are played by all of the major Artists in the scene. Da Lukas' reputation and presence in the scene continues to rise.

Da Lukas production career began in 2000 when he produced his first remix for Soul Providers, and from there he quickly began remixing and producing many phenomenal tracks.

In addition to this, he has released tracks for a wide range of outstanding club labels including Snatch!, Ministry Of Sound, Milk & Sugar, Nervous - To name but a few. This is a jam packed one to round out the year and one not to be slept on 🍯

With a superb new modern Brazilian Disco EP out on the excellent @fileunderdisco which has garnered remixes from heavy hitters JKriv, Dicky Trisco and Joutro Mundo and has seen some huge DJ support we thought that it was high time that we got to know @Processman a little better.

Having checked out his Soundcloud we quickly realised that as well as being a talented producer that he is also seriously  brilliant DJ so we asked him to step up to the LV decks which he has done in spectacular fashion mixing up a fusion of disco, boogie and house with a serious Latin Flare. @casbah-73 has been very much following his own path over the last few years with seriously tasty releases on Gliterbox, Boogie Angst and Lovemonk. Crafting exciting modern disco he's an artist who is definitely turning all the right heads as well as filling dancefloors to the brim all over the globe.
