Hailing from Mexico @monsieurvanpratt has been popping up all over the disco landscape with recent tight releases on Masterworks, Hot Digits, Mango and a peach of a track on Samos’s upcoming blockbuster of a release Funk Purpose Vol 3.

@tommy_glasses is an artist in a hurry. Born in 1999 he was only 14 as he started to mix songs at home. He would soon be taking apart famous funky house tracks and recreating them with his own touch.

Tommy’s first track would drop in 2017 and since then it has been a non-stop cascade of well crafted music.

We caught up with Tommy to discus his whirlwind career, his current raft of releases and his plans for the future. He also put together a brilliant mix for us. It’s safe to say that @DaveLeatherman aka René van der Weijde is an artist who lives and breathes music. Starting out Djing at the tender age of 14 in the 1980’s he would soon be producing his own tracks and would soon hit gold with the Atlantic Ocean 'Waterfall' which went top 10 in 30 countries selling 30 million copies along the way. Worldwide tours and festival appearances would follow. 

Between 1987 and 1997 René would produce and write more than 1500 tracks whilst also remixing the likes of 2 Unlimited and David Bowie.

After a lengthy hiatus from the music industry from the end of the 90's he would return in 2014 with the Dave Leatherman pseudonym. Working with HP Vince, Bruce Nolan and Alexander Koning he would set about dominating the download charts with his supremely polished Nu Disco sound.

We spoke to René about his success in the 90's and his resurgence over the last decade as Dave Leatherman as well as his plans for the rest of 2020. Based in South Beach Miami, the home of the Winter Music Conference, Mark Brickman has been a long standing resident in some of the best clubs in the area. Mark is also one of the heads behind the Essential Party which is one of the top underground house events held during Miami Music Week and Art Basel.

Marks latest release is a monster two track EP on Midnight Riot which hooked LV Online straight away and also looks destined for huge chart success.

We caught up with Mark to discuss his career, Miami and his upcoming releases. He also put together this wonderfully uplifting mix for us.

Ben Spalding's PuzzleProjectsMusic has come out of nowhere over the last couple of years to build into a whole range of related ventures.
