Welcome to EP-328 of the NDYD Radio Show where we take a detour to Seattle, WA for a live recording from the famous Monkey Loft - The sound of the underground in that city.

I had an absolute blast at my first gig of 2024. It wasn't my first rodeo at 'The City of Goodwill' but it was close to be one of my favorite visits this time around. It was special because the Monkey Loft was the first club that I ever played at in Seattle years ago and the heads over there sure know how to handle a dance floor. No house track was underneath their dancing. I also had the privilege to meet some fans and followers of the show that came to say hi and told me that it was the reason they were there. The def put me in the right mood for the night.

This set is dedicated to you Seattle fans - you know who you are :) I hope this brings good memories of an awesome night. Thank you to all who showed up and we will do it again for sure.

We're showcasing the amazing Juliet Thurbz, the new resident DJ face of Kinky Malinki in 2024, and a regular host on the Kinky Malinki show every Wednesday at 8pm on London's House FM, where she plays alongside original Kinky resident and one of the founders of Kinky Malinki, Jay Friction, along with Alun Harrison (Mr Roy and MaUVe) who was also a remixer producer of some of the worlds biggest artisits, such as Monica, Brandy and Christina Aguilera to name just a few.  Juliet is resident at the Kinky Malinki Ocean Beach Parties and is playing this summer at the world famous Ibiza Rocks.  She's about to release some amazing music, so watch this space as we think she's heading for the stars! We're sure you'll love her as much as we do. 

We've also got the brilliant Graham Simmons (one of Mr Roy) and equally brilliant Dan Lark. The Mr Roy track 'Something About You' was a monster success in 1994 when relased on Fresh Records, and it topped the dance music charts and actually got into the top 75 in the national chart.

Expect music to be funky, uplifting, with lots of vocals, lots of edits of classics and a few classics thrown in for good measure too. it's music you'll want to throw shapes to 💃🏻🕺.

Based in South Beach Miami, the home of the Winter Music Conference, Mark Brickman has been a long standing resident in some of the best clubs in the area. Mark is also one of the heads behind the Essential Party which is one of the top underground house events held during Miami Music Week and Art Basel.

Marks latest release is a monster two track EP on Midnight Riot which hooked LV Online straight away and also looks destined for huge chart success.

We caught up with Mark to discuss his career, Miami and his upcoming releases. He also put together this wonderfully uplifting mix for us.
