French producer, musician and DJ, Thomas Arroyo aka Laroye has over the last couple of years been dropping musical releases in all the rights places, Atjazz Record Company, Vision Recordings, Ocha Records and Freerange Records to drop a few names! It's now time for his long-awaited album and Local Talk are extremely proud to present 'Let It Go'.

From his studio in Brighton where he resides nowadays, Laroye has produced eight highly musical compositions that will appeal to a wide audience of house heads as well as the jazz, soul, and funk communities. The album offers everything from vocal soul /boogie jams like 'Beauty in motion' and 'Grateful' to the deep vocal house of 'Let it go' to jazz-funk with a strong rare groove feel on 'People out there' plus some house cuts for the clubs!

'Let It Go' is eight solid tracks that you'll want to play over and over and over. Local Talk coming at us once again with high quality dance music at its very best.

Our artist of the year for 2022 @Crackazat has continued his golden run in 2023 delivering some of his finest work to date popping up on Nervous, Local Talk, Heist, Closer to Truth and Sub_Urban with originals and remixes aplenty. Our premier from the EP today is Freddie's Groove a throbbing loopy hypnotic deep rollercoaster of a track with bass stabs, swirling vocals, Chandler-esque percussion and smokey brass. With nods to both Freddie Hubbard and Pepe Bradock it's an invigorating combination.

Retromigration's remix of 'Late Night Caller' is a voyage that kicks off with the rustling rhythm of shakers paired with harmonic chimes of piano keys. The percussion and bass follow suit, laying down a rhythm that carry some house influences into the broken beat. As the vocals come in, they are intermittent and deliberately subdued, receding into the background and giving prominence to the melancholic tones of the saxophone which gracefully intrudes into the funky beat. Halfway through the song, it morphs into a sublime embodiment of 'groovy sadness,' demonstrating Retromigration's ability to evoke complex moods through his music.
