For those unaware of the concept of the Round Up: Each artist that released on Heist in 2020 gets to remix another artist from that year. This year, there's the feel-good festival vibes on Crackazat remix of ‘Dakar Disco’ and the rolling tech goodness of Kassian’s remix of Nebraska’s bonkers track ‘Dip & Flip’. Pitto takes an excursion into deep dubbed out house with his remix of Kassian’s ‘8th Movement’ and Nebraska goes for a UK house meets US garage meets Christopher Walken’s cowbell solo on his remix of ‘Move out the way’ by Dam Swindle. The label heads take on their house stabs with their atmospheric and pumping remix of Teleseen’s ‘Dekalb’, while the latter goes for a worldly approach with his remix of ‘Discko’ by Pitto. There’s also the superb Detroit house approach from Scan 7 with their remix of Crackazat’s ‘Class one’, and we hear Alma Negra adding some vocal and synth layers to the gospel house of Scan7’s killer track ‘All for me’.

bisogna essere piuttosto pazzi o sprovveduti per caricare una traccia con il finale ancora da terminare ! tutto ciò è reso normale e giustificato dal fatto che  l'house music nasce in modo molto artigianale . ad oggi è possibile notare delle sbavature in grandi successi nati 20/30 anni fa ed è proprio questa imperfezione che li ha resi unici e ricordati nel tempo! con questo non voglio giustificare nessun tipo di pecca in questa traccia...ma sottolineare che la musica fatta di notte come questa è sintomo di ispirazione che ti viene e si deve assolutamente scrivere altrimenti si dimentica....io mi sono dimenticato di chiudere il finale!!! ma negli store non ci sarà tale sbavatura! ma qui condivido la vera espressione naturale di chi come me ama l'house music fino alla sua sottospecie di sottogenere. una fusione di due generi musicali in questa traccia, con accenni al classico e uno sguardo al futuro di uno stile personale... l'identità di questo pezzo? cerco di comporre house music con bassi profondi clap pronunciati , groove in progressione e vocal chop decisi ..   si nota una piccola influenza underground 90 nel groove ...
