@heistrecordings's Round Up Series has year on year lavished us with some truly wonderful house music. If you haven't come across the series before the concept is simple but brilliant. Heist get together all of the artists who have released with them in the previous 12 months and get them to remix each others tracks thus creating entirely new takes on some of the labels finest moments.

Soul Groove returns to Feedasoul Records with a cracking three-tracker. Jazz at Muniaka Club brings forward Soul Groove’s signature soulful sound that we’ve grown to love. Heavily rooted in Jazz, the EP title track highlights his downtempo rhythm alongside a groove-laden bassline, and heartfelt woodwinds, balanced by atmospheric pads and synths. Part 2 provides more bounce with his club rework of the track. Straight drums, movement-inducing percussion and building sax samples outline the artist’s symmetry between Jazz and House Music.

Everyone’s favorite Israeli digger is back for another round of gloriously rare edit heat on RNT! ‘Baila’ gets the party started with infectious flamenco chants and claps over a churning acidic groove, and ‘Disco Hummus’ rounds out the side with a bit of joyful disco cheek. On the flip, ‘Sun’ turns an unlikely cover of a classic into an Afro Disco banger, and ‘Simba’ rumbles and rolls with restraint toward a hypnotic peak of brass and vocals.
