Funkyjaws Music is back with more music to make your jaw go funky, this time in the form of a second volume of its Let's Dance series. It features a quartet of esteemed tune makers starting with Frank Booker's 'Yes No Maybe' which is a horn laced and loose-limbed delight, while go-slow master Eddie C brings his classy touch to the funky licks of 'Love Dancing Theme.' There are plenty of cosmic synth waves to Black Truffle's 'Dancing Through The Night' while the LTJ Xperience close down with a super laid back and summery vibe on 'Sunny Groove'.

This is the third installment in the Local Sugar Diggers Series from Scruniversal in which old and rare records from the label head's friend's collections get reworked and edited. This one is a collab between ScruScru and an equally passionate digger from Cyprus known as Dwaal. Both tunes offer quite different looks but with great results. The first is the steamy and loose-limbed 'Destination? Funk!' with its squelchy bass and neat guitar riffs, while the flipside is a super deep and lush downtempo jam, 'Camelot Chill'. This one has romantic sax notes and gentle grooves with jazzy keys finishing it in style.

We've been longtime supporters of London club-smiths The Disco Express so it's been a pleasure watching them grow over the last few years from one monthly club night in London to club nights all over Europe and a blossoming record label releasing some of the true heroes of the disco scene.

Their latest release see's label boss Tom step up to the plate under his Bustin' Loose pseudonym with the rather excellent 'The Link Up EP'.

Our premier from the EP today is Marlena which combines the the clean and ridiculously funky party vibes of Chic with deep house chords and hooky ear worm Lemon Jelly-esque vocals.

Max Sinàl, the artist who many of you may know as London based M.A.X., has been been a regular fixture on the London scene for a good few years now. His change of persona to Max Sinàl in 2023, however, has seen him hit a bit of a golden streak both for recognition and on the release front. Named as one of DJ Mag's emerging artists in 2023 Max has also just launched his Soul Quest night at the mighty Fabric and with his label of the same name hosting the likes of Aroop Roy and 2fox alongside a Soul Quest studio opening in East London it's safe to say that the future is looking bright.

To celebrate the release of the EP Max stepped up the the Le Visiteur decks to record this Worship mix for us, picking one of his all time favourite labels Rhythm Section, it's a super showcase for both the label and Max's skills.

This release is unique because the work included a track from 1981 - this is Soviet disco from a popular composer Vyacheslav Dobrynin! Soviet disco very rarely came into my field of work - but it’s worth it!

3Kelves and Dylan Green are two artists who have popped up time and time again on the LV radar. San Franciso resident 3Kelves and Netherlands born, and now San Francisco domiciled Dylan Green have been making some wicked disco and house music. It's music with a real edge which definitely stands out in the endless sea of tracks landing every day. They have chalked up an enviable list of releases together already on stand out labels including True Romance and Kitsune so this is a duo who definitely mean business.

They have just launched a new label, C3DO, along with Indonesian group We Are Neurotic with the first track, Hyperservice, coming from them and it's a powerhouse of hi energy disco house with a real twist.
