@ralphsession has been releasing some absolutely killer house music over the last 12 months on his @halfassedrecords label. His tracks have that Nu classic feel and he is clearly a producer who can easily match the ebbs and flows of todays' dancefloor an extensive knowledge about the roots of the genre.

His latest track 'You Know You Want To Get Up' featuring Carla Prather on vocal duties isn't just one of his best tracks to date for us it's one of the best tracks of the year so far. Overflowing with dancefloor groove it captures the energy an excitement of the best of the 90's house music but sounds absolutely now. A future classic for sure. Fouk - Paahdy [24 Carrot]

From the @outplay camp comes Fouk’s new sub label 24 Carrot.  It’s for all the ‘other’ tracks, the bits that don’t necessarily fit on a regular Outplay EP.

Whether it’s an edit, a loose pumping house track, or just straight up weird stuff, 24 Carrot is whatever takes their fancy really.

 24 Carrot #1 is a collection of tracks from Outplay’s very own @junktion and Fouk..

On the A-side Junktion comes at you with “The Search”.  It’s an uplifting piano vocal disco tune which will be sure to move those dancing feet move.

 

The flipside is Fouk’s turf.  “That’s Pretty Vague” amps it up as a groovy bass line house track broken with toughened up synths. The tongue in cheek vocals lighten the mood, while staying pretty vague.

Closing out the EP is “Paahdy”, which says it all.  It’s straight up house with nods to Chicago, which is perfect for a damn good paahdy.
