“Rush to Riot” is the 3rd EP to be released in mid of July 2021 on the Berlin Techno Label INHERIT. After dropping the first Inherit selection IHT S01 back in May 2021 with tracks by Bacch, Geerson, CLTX and many others we are more than happy to announce that this remarkable journey continues - not only with two more original tracks by the co-founders of Inherit, Daniel Heinrich & Disguised DJ, but rather with two exceptional remixed bangers by Hadone & Hioll on IHT 003. 
“Rush to Riot” is definitely one of the most ambitious & remarkable tracks ever published on INHERIT so far. The noteworthy collaboration between the co-founders Disguised DJ & Daniel Heinrich brings together what belongs together: trancey basslines and melodic vibrant tunes captivating you on every dancefloor around the world. 
Hadone is one of the most exciting Techno artists from France these days and without any doubt his remix of “Rush to Riot” adds an unique & outstanding layer to IHT 003. His well-known evocative melodies propped up on pounding kicks unite with a more forward-driven interpretation of the original track that brings so much energy to the EP. 

“Against the Current” is the 2nd original track on IHT 003 by co-founder Daniel Heinrich with a remix by Hioll, one of the rising stars within the Cuban electronic music scene. While the original track with the progressive baseline by Daniel Heinrich sounds like a famous club banger already Hioll created with his remix a new and distinctive sound, hypnotic techno supported by industrial elements lifting the original track to a new level. 

IHT 003 leaves us with the feeling how hard we crave for the clubs to reopen again soon. Until then enjoy your catchy four track compilation by Daniel Heinrich, Disguised DJ, Hadone & Hioll.

Following  in  the  wake  of  "Leland"  (2012),  the  critically  acclaimed  full  length  debut  by  label  founder  Francis Harris,  Scissor  and  Thread  is  proud  to  announce  the  November  18th  vinyl  release  of  "You  Can  Always Leave,"  Harris'  first  material  under  his  own  name  since,  and  the  first  hint  of  his  anticipated  sophomore  LP , "Minutes  of  Sleep,"  due  February  2014.  The  new  single  portends  the  mood  of  the  ensuing  album,  a  further foray  into  Harris'  signature  blend  of  house,  modern  classical,  shoe-­gaze  and  noise  which  is  the  artists  most ambitious  and  accomplished  work  to  date.  As  the  sole  dance  floor  moment  on  the  LP,  "You  Can  Always Leave"  picks  up  where  Harris'  cult  hit  "Lostfound"  left  off,  with  vocals  once  again  from  Danish  vocalist  Gry Bagøien  and  the  heartbreakingly  august  trumpet  of  No  Regular  Play's  Greg  Paulus. Commencing the 10th anniversary celebrations with a free compilation entitled Erased Tapes Collection VIII, Erased Tapes also welcomes the iconic Penguin Cafe to the roster amongst tracks from new signing Daniel Brandt (of Brandt Brauer Frick) and Peter Broderick’s duo project Allred & Broderick. It also includes recent compositions by Rival Consoles, A Winged Victory For The Sullen, Ben Lukas Boysen, Douglas Dare and Immix Ensemble & Vessel, as well as a previously unreleased soundcloud.com/ryan-davis remix of Erased Tapes stalwarts Ólafur Arnalds & Nils Frahm which was recently favoured by Aphex Twin and an exclusive edit of Woodkid & Nils Frahm’s score for JR’s Ellis, with spoken words by Robert De Niro.

The Story before: 

When i heard the Album Trance Frendz of Olafur Arnalds & Nils Frahm for the first time, i directly felt a connection to the song they both started together at 00:26. The fine textures of the synths and the subtle evolution in this one-taker brought up the idea of having a version i can play in the late nights on the dance floor but which also would work perfectly for listening in your comfort zone. 

The drums and way of how the remix should flow came naturally and as i had the song standing i layered the original stems here and there to have the track playing in some kind of canon. As i was very happy with my personal version i sent it out to https://soundcloud.com/olafur-arnalds, https://soundcloud.com/erasedtapes & the rest of the participants of this project. Gladly Olafur picked up my remix and forwarded the song to the label which lead to having this unofficial version approved to share with you out there. I hope you like it and thanks to Erased Tapes and all involved for the support :)

Just Like Heaven

After a bit of a production hiatus, label bosses, Frank&Tony return to Scissor and Thread with their strongest productions to date with Odes. Representative of their passion for vinyl collecting, the ep is the most dancefloor friendly to date. Leading the charge on A1, Procession takes no time demonstrating the duos keen ability to craft undeniable dancefloor vibes, with a hypnotic percussive groove sure to turn heads. The title track Odes, epitomizes the F&T sound with an early morning nostalgia and a nod to Detroit. B1, This Time, sees a collaboration with label mate and overall luminary, Darand Land, combining the dancefloor drive of the duos sound with the intricate melodies synonymous with Land's inimitable sound. Closing off the ep, Surface Prelude, sees a raw, but deep warehouse atmosphere reminiscent of early 90s house, but with an indelible Frank&Tony touch.
