Its been more than six months since I’ve had the last chance to play some music in front of a crowd. I tried to put all of my hope, my love & dedication as well as my anger into this DJ mix. This journey reflects what I would be playing in the morning hours at a club such as KaterBlau and some melancholic-melodic moments to just make you fly away. Our 18th episode welcomes @julya-karma, a NYC-based DJ & producer with roots extending from Lebanon to California, and through her musical abilities, and contagious energy, has quickly emerged in New York's underground scene.

Julya's connection to sound started early as she began studying classical piano at the age of 6, and since, has been passionately involved in music at every stage of her life. As an obsessive curator, she finds mixing to be the perfect format for creating an atmosphere of deep, moving melodies, eclectic sounds, and stimulating progressions. An artist bound by no genre, Julya tells powerful, emotional stories through her music, and her live performances allow audiences to unite together to transcend beyond time and enter a higher level of consciousness.

This episode Deep Down the Rabbit Hole brings ALPHAKEY (Marci in real life) whose passion for music formed way back in his childhood when he began to play the guitar at the age of 7. After years of partying he started experimenting with mixing his favourite tracks and later on he envisioned his dj project called Alphakey. He emerged in Budapest’s psy parties at around early 2016 with his sets that are always adapted to the occasion, time and mood. Besides the major parties and festivals in Hungary he had the chance to play in the UK and in Transylvania as well. Be it zenonesque, dark progressive or night-psytrance, his selections are always packed with grooves that never end fused with boundless fun that surely makes you dance. Besides being a co-founder of Darth Frog Collective, the only Hungarian darkprog/zenon party label, he is also a member of Psychotria Records where he plays night-psytrance with love.
