California native Nicki Bluhm currently resides in Nashville, TN re-invigorated as a songwriter and performer. Embarking on her second decade of releasing albums, Nicki stepped out on her own with the 2018 release of ‘To Rise You Gotta Fall’, a collection of songs exploring old endings and new beginnings. Eager to try new things in unfamiliar places, Bluhm decided to record at the legendary Sam Phillips Recording Services in Memphis, TN and enlisted producer Matt Ross-Spang (Jason Isbell, Margo Price, Calexico) to take the helm. After a year of virtual performing, Nicki is excited to return to the road playing live shows as a solo artist, with her Nashville band and with a variety of musicians and longtime friends in new and creative iterations. Having also shared the stage with such luminaries as the Infamous Stringdusters, The Wood Brothers, Geroge Porter Jr. and Phil Lesh, her collaborative efforts have made way for new bright-eyed interpretations of her existing catalog while inspiring fresh material to be released in the near future.

Regi Oliver began playing the saxophone at age 12, however he started his musical pursuits much earlier.  By age 10, the Louisiana native had decided he would become a musician.  By the time Regi graduated from high school, he was playing all of the band instruments;  woodwinds, brasswinds, mallet and tuned percussion.  These skills made Regi a 'blue chip' recruit and earned him a full music scholarship to Louisiana State University, in Baton Rouge, LA,  where his growing mastery in improvisation and jazz composition were prominently featured.  To further his quest for knowledge, Regi cross-registered and began directed studies with jazz clarinetist & composer, Alvin Batiste, at Southern University, across town.  He also studied privately with saxophone & bass clarinetist, Tony Digradi in New Orleans during this period.   Shortly thereafter, Regi heard saxophonist and 'Jazz Messenger', Billy Pierce.  In 1984, Regi was awarded a full scholarship to the Berklee College of Music. He graduated in 1987 with a major in Professional Music.  While attending Berklee, Regi studied classically with Joe Viola and studied jazz with Billy Pierce.  He also toured, as a Berklee College representative, in student/faculty ensembles with faculty jazz trombonist, composer & arranger, Phil Wilson.  After Boston, Mr. Oliver relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area and, in 1988, joined the summer jazz faculty at Stanford University's Jazz Workshop. For the next decade, Regi focused on Arts Education, Arts facilitation, administration and his bands: Remote Control and Modern Art.  During this time he was a touring musician, award-winning teacher, artist-in-residence, professional grant writer, published co-author, executive director, artistic director, film-scorer, musical director, woodwinds clinician and Kalimba Records Recording Artist.  Regi eventually met his wife in 1998, while on a national tour and re-settled in Miami.  Over the next decade, Regi began touring internationally in 38 countries throughout the world.  Having played, recorded and toured with a long list of artists including, The Pointer Sisters, Xpression, Lucky Peterson, Chubby Carrier, E.C. Scott, Sam Rivers, Joey Gilmore, The Robert Harris Group, Tony Cook & Trunk-O-Funk w/M.C. Danny Ray,Mutiny on the Mothership, The Psychodelic Ghetto Pimps and others. Currently residing in Central Florida, Regi continues touring and performing on all saxophones, flute, clarinet, sop. & tenor ukuleles, 6 & 8-string lap steel guitars, pedal steel guitar D-10, keyboards, MIDI wind-controller, EWI and tuba; recording and honing his many and diverse talents as a musician, bandleader and producer. 

What everyone needs to know is that I am first and foremost a songwriter. Lyrics should tell a story, evoke an emotion, bring understanding to a soul who feels alone...relate...and have a great hook to run through your head even after the song is over. Melodies don't have to be complicated, but there's nothing like a good riff to announce a song's arrival to the ear. I try to keep it real, either from my own experiences and dreams, or from those I've witnessed in this time on earth. Those in the "circle" know, those outside it, keep guessing....
Cathy is a 1986 graduate of Duquesne University's School of Music, a trumpet major with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education.
She is registered with BMI as a songwriter/composer.
She fronts the Cathy Stewart Band, as well as solo acoustic performances, and fills in occasionally with bands around the area with vocals and rhythm guitar.
She is a multi-instrumentalist (trumpet, guitar, bass, keys, percussion, french horn) with a 4 octave vocal range(A3-A6). Her songwriting style ranges from rock, blues, country, Americana, soul, gospel, and pop. Her vocal styles encompass a wide range, pretty to gritty, with influences and nuances from Janis Joplin, Stevie Nicks, Chrissie Hynde, Susan Tedeschi, and Tina Turner to Roger Daltrey, Bon Scott, Robert Plant, and the occasional Axl Rose.
Cathy teaches and performs administrative duties at the For Those About To Rock Academy, where she has been a vocal, beginning guitar, bass, keys, and beginning drum instructor since 2009 with founding colleagues David and Joey Granati.
Cathy has performed her music at the Bluebird in Nashville, Pittsburgh Marathon, Stage AE, The Hard Rock Pittsburgh, Wheeling Jamboree Radio Show, Shadow Lounge, Club Cafe, Smiling Moose, Double Wide, Lava Lounge, Valley Hotel, Sing Sing, Charlie Murdoch's, Holy Trinity Festival, Bloomfield Bridge Tavern, Howler's, Pizons, Mousetrap, Grass Roots Radio, Greensburg Summer Sounds Concert Series, Dave World TV, Armstrong Cable's The Beat, several internet radio shows, and has performed the National Anthem at Dealey Plaza, Dallas Texas, and for crowds of 6000+ twice for the Altoona Curve baseball organization, the Ride for the Ribbon, and many local functions. She has production credits on videos for the JFK Lancer research organization and appears in an episode of the 4th season of Cinemax's "Banshee" and as an extra in Ewan McGregor's feature movie "American Pastoral". She also runs av and sound for the Joe Cheeta's Gameshow Junkies gameshow experience.
She has 2 EPs out, "Originals-EP 1" (2008), "This Beggar's Ready To Ride" (2009), and is in production with a full length CD "Back To The Source". She co-produced and has 2 cuts on " Music That Matters-Pennsylvania" with Nashville music artist Wayne Warner for the Melodical Hearts organization to support adoption awareness. Her music appears on the Pittsburgh Songwriters Circle 2007 compilation CD. She appears on comedian Mark Eddie's "Dahntahn" single on trumpet and background vocals, as well as designing the artwork for the CD and jacket for its release party. She has also designed CD covers for the Granati Brothers, 4th Dimensional Beings, John Stangry, and other local artists, as well as her own. Pittsburgh artists who have contributed their talents to her recordings include Bob Banerjee, Matt Barranti, Dave Busch, Bob Crafty Crafton, Eric DeFade, David Granati, Joey Granati, Dave Hanner, Jake Hanner, Ryan Langley, Dave Rudovsky, Al Snyder, Greg Stewart, and from Nashville, Andy Hull and current producer Steve Rutledge. And since 2010 she has participated in the Thomas Jefferson Alumni Jazz Ensemble to raise funds for arts programs in the West Jefferson Hills School District with fellow alumni, many of which are Pittsburgh jazz Hall of Fame members.Cathy is a resident of the South Hills, where she teaches private music instruction.
