The Auburn Avenue Research Library is the first public library in the Southeast to offer specialized reference and archival collections dedicated to the study and research of African American culture and history and of the African diaspora.

 A live AV8R performance is a journey through blissful soundscapes and total sonic chaos. Seemingly out of nowhere, AV8R crafts a lighthearted, almost unearthly charm that is developed and heavily detailed.  Lightly brushed distortion, drenched bass and even a slice of funked dubstep rolls over the instrumental smatterings of saturated frequencies.  Experimental, IDM, dub, and ambient simmer as world influences melt in a smorgasbord of organic audio soup.
