About Oscar Sanchez:

Oscar Sanchez has been immersed in electronic music since the early 2000s. At just 16, he began honing his craft on Akiyama turntables and stacks of vinyl, practicing tirelessly in his room while recording and replaying Loca FM’s legendary “Techno Culture” program on his Walkman. These formative years shaped his deep understanding of groove, momentum, and the physicality of techno.

Throughout his journey, Oscar has shared the booth with some of Spain’s most respected names—Cristian Varela, Cristian Wünsch, Nuke, Pelacha, Raúl Parra, among many others. He has performed at emblematic venues such as Family Club and Área 42, and appeared at festivals including Oasis Summer Festival, solidifying his reputation in the central Spanish scene.

Since moving into production in 2017, Oscar has released on an impressive list of labels including Unity Records, Kneaded Pains, Dolma, Crash, Transfiguration, WRD, Vezotonic, Plastic Toys, Beats HD, Black Square, Elektrax, Xelima, Diffuse Reality, and has built strong collaborations with Kneaded Pains, MEUK, 09Recordings, The Acid Mind, Say What? and Sway. His catalogue reflects versatility, precision, and a deep connection to the roots of techno.

There have always been distinct hints of his fondness for more abstract, non-dancefloor rhythms, discomforting sounds and mindful listening in his young discography.

Drawing Inspiration from London's Underground dance scene, Descendants of Sinners is a result of an ongoing, passionate desire from Dax fusing modern day Techno with the sound of classic UK rave culture. 2015 has been a big year for Dax. He's seen successful debut appearances at Berghain and Glastonbury as well as his very well received EarToGround residency with Jaded at Corsica Studios and soon his long awaited debut appearance at fabric. There is a lot more we can say about the tracks individually but instead we'll let the Techno do the talking. Lights Out brings you an exclusive premiere from techno talent Under Black Helmet. Taken from his forthcoming debut album 'It Emerged From Nothing', 'Radiate' is a driving techno tool filled with rave energy. Radiate begins with a massive thumping kick drum and scratchy percussion, working its way to a break which then introduces a menacing and pulsing bassline that adds serious drive to the track. As things progress, percussion intensifies as an eerie pad weaves throughout the soundscape, creating an intense atmosphere suited perfectly for a warehouse or club. Radiate will be available on January 29th in vinyl and digital formats.
