Planet Mastergod released their 3rd album, From Under Them Ashes, on May 8 2015 and was mixed by Magnus Lindberg from the legendary band Cult Of Luna.

The band will now release their 4th full-length album, There Are Snakes In These Woods. The album will be available on vinyl and all key streaming services August 14, 2019.

With sources of inspiration such as Isis, Tool, Neurosis and Cult Of Luna, Planet Mastergod focuses on songs with a dark and melancholy expression. You get the melancholy of the new wave area, the post-rock atmosphere and the harshness  of hard rock and metal, which together makes the music heavy, honest and at times atmospheric.

Planet Mastergod is based in the dark industrial city of Halden in Norway, and saw the light of day in 2004. The band has a vinyl single, an EP and three full-lengths behind it, all released on True Medium Records. Planet Mastergod has been a part of Halden´s unique music scene for many years and was, among other things booked at Tons Of Rock 2015 together with bands like Testament, Gojira, Opeth and In Flames.
