I’m dealing with ambient, experimental and electronic music and I like to write melodic ambient sounds. Well, I try… I like long notes, echos and reverbs on my songs. I've played guitar since 1964, have been writing songs since 1966 and started playing with Beats Workin' in 1968. We got together at Twin Lakes WI just north of Chicago IL where our families all had summer homes. We recorded my first original song in 1971, I Feel Better Than You. We were playing Rock and Blues-R&B at this time, Rolling Stones, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, CCR, Savoy Brown, Ten Years After, the Beatles, and lots of Chicago Blues ala Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Magic Sam, Howlin' Wolf, etc. In the late 70's I branched into Country music and Bluegrass, while still maintaining my interest in the Blues. I always had an interest in Country music, and the Urban Cowboy craze ca. 1980 created a lot of gigs. In 1985 I moved to Albuquerque NM with my wife Barbara and have been a fixture in the NM Country scene since then, with extensive work at the Caravan East, an iconic Country nightclub seen in my profile picture, often as house band, and warming up for numerous Country artists , including Asleep At The Wheel, Ray Price, Gene Watson, Razzie Bailey, Eddy Ravin, Neil McCoy, Jason D. Williams and others. In 2010 Beats Workin' recorded our album 24/7, and it is currently available @ CD Baby. I also have several videos on YouTube including Mother Road, I Don't Need No Blues, Mother Earth Is Blue and a Christmas Blues called Merry Christmas Baby. My music is a blend of Blues, Country and Rock primarily, but also is influenced by other American genres like Bluegrass, Cajun-Zydeco, Reggae, Jazz and Tex-Mex. I am  BMI artist.

POTP is known for his productions remixes and compositions mainly in the Electronic Music genre. ZARINE (Dj Zarine) is one of the drum & bass DJs and producers whose work has brought considerable popularity to this style.
Starting his career in 97, he started promoting the Jump Up style in Russia. This always positive and open person still carries the culture of broken rhythms to the masses.

He received a classical music education. He studied conducting. He also plays guitar (played death metal, hardcore, techno death, was a session guitarist.) Sound engineer, worked with many well-known musicians, both foreign (Henry Rollins Band, Young Gods, Braut schlägt im Auge), and Russian, such as: the King and the Jester, Bricks, Torba-na-Kruche, Nom, TV, Calibri, Two Planes, Brigade row, Spitfire, and others.

His creative pseudonym, the female name ZARINE, owes his love for decadence, and the eponymous name of one of his projects-ZARINE (sarin) with the crossed-out letter " E " at the end. In 1996, after playing his first ever set at the CLEO club, he decided to keep the name.

The first single, "DnB Wize", was recorded in 1999 and released as a compilation album on a no-longer-existing foreign label. This was followed by releases - "Drunk n Bass" and "Art Core", "Eazy Drums" - released on the now-defunct KDK records 

Later there were releases on "Dj Parade", "World of the Drum n bass" - Dj SS took the single "GO ON" recorded together with Liza K. Audio design of the magazine "SPB. RU". Release of the album "Leading the rats". Working with Goldie, Aphrodite.

To date, singles have been released on Italian, French, German, and English labels.
