★ ist ein weitgereister Gentleman: 
Aus der Schweizer Provinz, wo er seine ersten (und zweiten) musikalischen Schritte unternahm, zog es ihn in den Straßendschungel der deutschen Hauptstadt Berlin, wo er 6 Jahre lang blieb und sein Handwerk vertiefte. Zusammen mit seinem damaligen Mitbewohner Dave Dinger zog er um die Häuser und bespielte mit ihm Clubs wie die Bar25.
Und wer es in Berlin schafft, der erobert das kleine Zürich im Sturm: Matija machte sich nach seiner Rückkehr auf, die Schweizer Szene-Metropole zu erobern. Mit Erfolg: Nach Partyreihen im Supermarkt, Hive (und anderen Clubs) arbeitete er jahrelang als Nachtmanager im Zürcher Hive Club und ist in diesem immer noch als Resident tätig.
Als ehemaliger Nachtmanager von Gonzo, Frieda's Büxe und Hive ist er nun seit 24 Jahren als DJ in der ganzen Schweiz und oft auch international unterwegs..

"Manchmal ist die Welt voller grauer Wolken, dunkler Gassen, böser Menschen und schlechter Tage. Manchmal ist die Welt voller Nähe, Lächeln, Liebe, Freiheit, Sonne und toller Menschen. Gute Nachrichten, schlechte Nachrichten, tausende am Tag. Manchmal ist alles zu viel, und wir suchen Ablenkung, tauchen in den Schmerz ein oder tauchen in unserer kleinen Welt unter. Mich nimmt das aktuelle Weltgeschehen sehr mit, und ich wollte einen Set kreieren, der bewegend ist - aber auch einfach gute Laune macht.
Ich hoffe, Menschen und Tiere genießen diesen Winterspecial für die dunklen Tage - ein wenig lustig, ein wenig melancholisch - damit man mal lächelt, mal ein Tränchen verliert, mal die Hüfte schwingt und sich auch mal hinlegt und alles hinterfragt. Vielen Dank für die Einladung liebe Faultiere :)"
