I got asked to spin 80's music and open for A Flock Of Seagulls at Scout Bar, a local area music venue. I've always wanted to do an edit of this song because I never felt that the original 12" version was very "dj friendly". So, I put this edit together just in time for the show. Enjoy!

This is a mix I started working on back in 2005 when I met David in my shop, we talked about how great the 80s were and how much fun the music was, I guess you could say I have been side tracked for the last 10 years but have managed to re-create one of my favourite tracks of all time. I needed to get this finished for Valentines day for my lovely lady who has given me a great deal of happiness since I met her. Please enjoy this track as much as I did in re-creating it.

Depeche Mode - Going Backwards (Soulful Remix)

Originally remixed as Snare back in 1997 under the tag of 'Personal Devotion' I've finally uploaded this to Soundcloud! It was mixed using the original Depeche Mode versions only of the time, as well as adding some additional orchestral strings from yours truly.

This remix is purely fan based, non-profit related and I hope in keeping with respect to the original artists. I hope the band members and their fans (of which I am one) will enjoy this remix.
