Chilled R&B: The Gold Edition

Delusional was born as Dennis Luttgen on June 25th, 1982 in Siegburg, Germany. Dennis moved to the Netherlands in 1987 and few years later in 1994 he first came into contact with Gabberhouse. Immediately sold on these Hardcore sounds but unfortunately still too young to attend the parties even in 1996, he started listening to the tapes and first cd's of Thunderdome, watching the video's and looking at the posters/flyers of various events. Hardcore/Gabber let Delusional find peace and freedom in his young, yet already troubled mind, and he knew that one day he will realize his dream and dedicate his life to the music to be able to share his feelings with the world.

After moving to Houston, Texas in 1997 Dennis came into contact with Trance, Hardhouse, Hip-Hop en Metal. Growing up as a part of the Houston Rave-scene, the local parties had a great influence on his music experience. At that time, the first experience with Turntables was made playing everything... except for Hardcore/Gabber, since it was not to be found in Texas. It was definitely a missing part of his life.

Moving back to the Netherlands in 2002 he noticed that a lot had changed, it wasn't the same as before. A new style had evolved, Hardstyle, which also was nice to listen to, but did not free his mind or touch his emotions the way he needed. Finally having bought his own turntables and mixer it was time to start on realizing a dream, unfortunately this dream had to once again be put on hold for a little while. It was not until 2010 when Dennis picked up his passion about music again and was now determined to let nothing hold him back anymore. Practicing, practicing and practicing some more, Delusional entered a DJ contest at a Vinyl only party and placed as 2nd in 2012, and even got to play a few more gigs that year.

Due to circumstances he had to move again though, moving to Germany end of 2012 and being unable to even think about music for a few months, there was a break until march 2013. At this time he picked himself up again, entered and won a DJ contest at the German GIGAparc. 
Playing a few more gigs and entering some more contests landed him his biggest gig so far: July 18th 2013 he had the honour to be playing at AIRBEAT ONE FESTIVAL 2013, Neustadt-Glewe Airport, Germany on opening night... Primetime. This gig was the first real reward, playing a circustent, name lit up projected on a screen behind the DJ booth, the people going wild... this... was true Freedom, Joy and Happiness.

End of 2013 Delusional entered one more DJ contest at Club Y-Land Spijkenisse, which was an allround DJ-contest and here he placed 3rd as best Hardcore act.

The past 12 months has seen Fuse ODG fast become a mainstream star, selling over a million records with four chart hits in as many singles to his name. He has been a near permanent fixture on the radio 1 playlist and achieved silver status on singles ‘Antenna’, ‘Million Pound Girl’ and ‘Dangerous Love’, which spent 10 consecutive weeks in the UK top 20. Recorded over the past year and created with the help of the industry’s most in demand Afrobeats production houses such as award-winning Ghanaian producer Killbeatz, the album ‘T.I.N.A’ is an extraordinary body of work.
