Born in 1989, Worakls, who is in reality Kevin Rodrigues, is a French dj coming from Paris. He has begun to play music at 3 years old on piano, he has got some bands music of differents styles (rock, hard rock, bossa nova) during his teensage. He begin to produce electronic music when he was 18 years old.

 The meet of Eric Prydz lead him to be a DJ "This is him, or else his music, who make me understand that electronic music can be a very elaborated style and overall more than a punchbag". He stopped his studies completely, and work relentlessly on music, that could be more than 15hours per day. He begin to be know with his first Ep "unity", he was quote by Umek as one of the best new comer in 2009 of the minimalist techno scene.

He lunched the label "hungry music" with his mates N’to & Joachim Pator in february 2014 so the story just started...

Hungry Music has the kind of waterproof musical aesthetic that not many labels with under twenty releases under their belt have. The output is bold and atmospheric at same time. Travels through misty soundscapes are just one of their trademarks. The french label established its sound through a close circle of friends - namely, Worakls, N’to & Joachim Pastor.

Over Christmas 2014 I needed a break from recording
my album, searching online for a song I recalled from
my youth, I fell into a rabbit hole of thousands of
YouTube playlists and posts, rediscovering the songs
my friends and I would gather and listen to as
13 & 14 yr olds every Saturday in East Berlin on Radio DT64
(now Berlin's Radio Fritz).

I stumbled back to the future, collecting over 5000 songs
on YouTube, learning for the first time the artists behind
the songs we heard almost 25 years ago.

The forthcoming trilogy is the result of 18 month
of building edits from YouTube recordings and stitching
them together off-line. I could not include every song,
nor indeed even the entire tracks from this small period
until 1993, so this is my personal history of electronic
music arriving in Berlin.

This trilogy will not be sold, it was a labor of love,
born of nostalgia and made for sharing.

Gregor Tresher zählt seit vielen Jahren zu unseren Lieblingskünstlern. Umso mehr freuen wir uns, dass er die inzwischen 38. Ausgabe der Jeden Tag ein Set Podcastreihe zusammen gestellt hat. 

Bereits seit über 20 Jahren ist Gregor Tresher als DJ aktiv und tourt non-stop rund um den Globus. Seine Tracks wie „Neon“, „Still“ oder „A Thousand Nights“ waren der Sound unserer Jugend und sind allen bis heute im Ohr. Vor kurzem veröffentlichte er sein neustes Album „Quiet Distortion“, das seinen Vorgängern wie gewohnt in nichts nachsteht. Man hört Gregor Treshers Sound ist noch reifer geworden, aber kein bisschen leiser. In seinen Tracks wie „Goliath“, „The Kraken“ oder „Consistency“  steckt so viel Energie, dass jeder DJ ein leichtes Spiel hat mit diesen den Dancefloor zum kollektiven Ausrasten zu bringen.
