After debuting on the recent “seven daze a week” sampler, Belfast house heavyweight JMX comes with his own robust EP for us. Lead cut 'The Hardcore Track' pays homage to the warehouse parties that ignited the birth of house culture with a sound that would easily fill an aircraft hangar. Old school breakbeats, a gargantuan bassline and an uplifting piano workout all combine to make this heavy hitting club weapon. 'No More' is another driving club bomb that bumps along with an authentic flavour care of the killer keys, combined with a soft soulful edge courtesy of the hypnotic vox. 'Livin' Large' embraces a softer touch and comes over like a rediscovered NY house cut. All shades of house and all times of the dance floor are covered on this catchy 3-tracker.
