About me:

Hi, I'm Lia Meni, a music producer and singer/rapper/songwriter from Canada. I've been writing stories and poems for as long as I can remember and eventually I crossed the line into writing raps when I was 12. I was heavily influenced by Eminem and rappers that I hung out with and was constantly challenged to do better. I wrote singing parts in my songs that I thought I'd get other people to sing, but ended up taking singing lessons so I could do them myself, instead. I guess I was sort of destined for this one-man band schtick as I prefer to record, produce, and write my own material. I like producing Hip-Hop, R&B, Alternative, Pop, Electronic, and Soundtrack music. I've been composing music on the piano since I could get up on the bench by myself, been producing for myself and others since 2011 and have a background in music theory and business.
