Half Life (Glen Marks) and I wanted to explore the darker possibilities of the melodic dubstep medium, drawing on elements from psy trance and other psychedelic styles of EDM. In our choice of harmony and thematic material, and mainly in the sound effects that we chose, we aimed to accomplish this. Although looking back there are definitely less aggressive elements than in tracks like Bloodlust by Killsonic, the overall the result was a pleasing effort.
