'High priestess of psychedelic Arabic jazz’
Yazz Ahmed is a multi-award winning British-Bahraini trumpet player, composer and producer. She is renowned for her unique vision of psychedelic Arabic jazz and electronic experimentations.

RuaidhriMannion is an Irish composer and sonic artist living in London who specialises in combining electronic sounds with classical instruments and multimedia to create immersive and evocative live concert experiences. He is a Royal College of Music Scholar, who has recently completed his doctorate under the supervision of Dr. Jonathan Cole and Gilbert Nouno (IRCAM), and generously supported by the Soirée d'Or Award. He is Head of Music at Brunel University of London where he teaches Music Technology, Production and Composition.

In recent years his work he been an Associate Composer of the London Symphony Orchestra and commissioned to compose two works for new LSO Soundhub, premiered at LSO St Luke's. In 2024 he was commissioned by the award-winning FUKIO Saxophone Quartet in Cologne, Germany to compose 'Scaradh Anama le Corp' for sax quartet and live electronics. Other commissions include: the Nouvel Ensemble Contemporain in Switzerland to create 'Mise en Abyme', an immersive multimedia creation co-authored with the composer, Benoit Moreau; the Whitecube Gallery, London to compose music for the ‘Tribunal of the Dusk’ installation with artist, Eloise Hawser; a saxophone sextet commission for the Royal Academy of Art's 'Sensing Spaces: Architecture Reimagined' exhibition; and an interactive electroacoustic performance at the Tate Modern's critically acclaimed 'Matisse: The Cut-Outs' exhibition.

His music has been broadcast on BBC Radio 3, RINSE FM, Resonance FM, Radio Télévision Suisse, BBC Radio 1 NI, BBC Radio Foyle, RCA Radio and been performed in venues such as Kings Place, Whitechapel Gallery, Royal Academy of Arts, Cadogan Hall, Sonic Arts Research Centre, National Portrait Gallery and the Tate Modern.

Led by composer saxophonist Matt London Ensemble Entropy is a dynamic new music ensemble / group / band exploring the space between composed contemporary music & free improvisation.

Edwin Hillier is a British composer of acoustic and electroacoustic music. Recent works have been broadcast on BBC Radio 3, France Musique and recorded on the NMC Record Label. He was a recipient of the Scottish Award for New Music in both 2021 (Dorico Award for Small/Medium Scale Work) and 2020 (Electroacoustic/Sound Artwork). A graduate of the University of Cambridge, Edwin was awarded a scholarship to the Royal College of Music to pursue his postgraduate studies, supported by the RVW Trust and the AHRC. In 2021 he attained his doctorate in composition. 

At the RCM, Edwin is now a Composition professor, Academic professor, and Module Leader in Musical Analysis.

Named as the 'Face to Watch' for classical music in The Times 2020 Calendar of the Arts, Grace-Evangeline Mason is a composer based in the UK. She has been described as ‘a supreme painter in sound’ [Seen and Heard International] and has a ‘keen ear for musical texture - from dreamy hazes of electronic sound to sumptuous choral writing’ [BBC]. Mason creates ethereal sound-worlds often inspired by art, poetry and literature to take a listener on a narrative journey. 

She has worked with ensembles such as the BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic, London Symphony Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia, and the Aurora Orchestra, in venues across the UK and internationally,  including European countries, USA, Canada, Japan and South Africa. Her music has been performed at festivals such as the Cheltenham Music Festival, Southbank SoundState Festival, LFCCM, and the 2017 BBC Proms, amongst others. Her orchestral work ‘The Imagined Forest’, ‘drawn with pen-and-ink precision and filled with vivid orchestral colour’ [The Times], was co-commissioned to mark the 150th anniversary of the Royal Albert Hall premiered by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra at the 2021 BBC Proms. 

Mason is the recipient of awards including BBC Young Composer of the Year (2013), the RLPO’s Christopher Brooks Prize (2017), and the prestigious Royal Philharmonic Society Composition Prize (2018). She studied at the RNCM and the University of Oxford and is currently pursuing her doctorate at the Royal Academy of Music, London.

The Ensemble intercontemporain is a music ensemble of 31 soloists dedicated to the performance and promotion of music from the 20th and 21st centuries.
For almost 40 years, this permanent ensemble of highly professional musicians has been performing a demanding repertoire of orchestral music in all its diverse forms. Under the artistic direction of Matthias Pintscher  they are united by a shared passion for new music.
