OK, since you guys are enjoying the guitar (or rather, the guitars) in "Do What You Like" 🎸(https://soundcloud.com/beatingedge/do-what-you-like) so much, and since you were also curious to actually see the mess that created this sound, here you go! This is basically the “making of” the song, mainly based on a part that was later discarded, complete with a rather comical little sketch and Mary at some point asking Tom to switch to another effects chain (switch, switch! Well, that’s how she puts it!), plus a bunch of other nonsense we’re deeply ashamed of and really shouldn’t be releasing to the whole world ! Oh well… goodbye decency, and goodbye ears for you all (it’s all in English and the laughs are interplanetary… the only word in Italian is Tom’s “basta!” at the end, which means “enough!”)!😂
Oh, by the way, some of you asked about the effects chain we used. Well, maybe we’ll update this description later (time permitting, with our day jobs and three other songs in the making!), and reveal a bit more! Cheers!🫶

Yearning (Demo) – eine exklusive Fassung, die nur hier unter Harmonic Echo zu hören ist. Diese Version entstand in der Schmiede von DestKorn und legt den Schwerpunkt aufs Piano, begleitet von einem starken, tief traurigen männlichen Gesang. Der Gesang wurde mit ACE Studio umgesetzt, doch jede Note, jede Melodie und das gesamte Arrangement stammen von mir.

Der Text von Nicole K. verleiht auch dieser Fassung ihre emotionale Intensität. Diese Demo ist roh, unverfälscht und gibt einen Einblick in Musik, die sonst nirgends veröffentlicht wurde.
