The final track on an upcoming album called 'death is just like falling asleep forever.'

FL has the ability to separate stems from pre-recorded music tracks now, so I took its Ai to one of my favorite chillout mixes and fucked around with the acapella that it spit out. I went hardcore on the pitch shifting too. Sliced, diced, mixed, and switched the words around until some were unrecognizable. I then added some gritty 2step drums, some dialogue samples, and some plain old flavor at points.

Story-wise, there are some gothy, vampy vibes on this one. A tale of a girl who pines for a vampire. I really like dark subject matter, so whether or not she makes it out alive is up for you to decide. I am but a humble storyteller. You can interpret this in whatever way you'd like.

I really like how this turned out, but it sounds like shit on my JBL Charge 5.

I'd definitely recommend headphones or a good stereo system when you listen to this.

Conjure One - Sleep (Bleed the Dream Mix)

Track 2 from my upcoming Tracking Sounds 2 album, this one details the roots of the problems outlined in the first half of the LP. It's turned into a bit of a concept album of sorts, but I'm not sure what it might be. More Apocalyptic vibes, as with Forest Path.

The dialogue comes from the introduction to Resistance: Fall of Man, one of my favorite PS3 games. Like TimeSplitters before it, it only got three games and was promptly cancelled. I really wish we got a fourth.

A remix/remaster/remake of Joe Boyd Vigil's 'Broken Promise,' widely known as being used as the backing track to a Toonami Music Video aired in early 2001 and released on the Deep Space Bass LP on May 15, 2001.

This is a track that I have been working on, on and off, for almost 6 years. It took me forever to find all the dialogue to recreate the music video in audio form. The drums are sampled from the original track. The Bass and Synth were created with 3xOsc and a sampled Sytrus preset, respectively.

Golden Rule

This is a remix of Joe Boyd Vigil's 'Bravado,' aka the song used for Toonami's 'Morning Sun' saturday morning block and was released on the Black Hole Megamix in 2003.

I've known that I had the break used in the original track for a long while but didn't think to remix the original until I re-listened to the Mix last night. Made this in a couple of hours. I slowed down a part of the musical sample used in the original track and also chopped it up a tiny bit.

I culled most of the vocal clips from the 8th episode of Batman Beyond. I also planted an Inuyasha quote near the end. The first quote heard is of Dr. Timothy Leary. I've no idea where it's from. I also felt the 'After School' sample was of major importance as I almost always make my beats after I'm done with school.

WTF-ANIME!?!

It's been a while since I've seen any really good anime. I began to lose hope and then lo and behold a little 12 episode gem by the name of 'Highschool Of The Dead' on Netflix catches my eye.

"The story follows a group of high school students, the high school's nurse, and a young girl as they fight their way to safety through the deadly streets of Japan during a worldwide catastrophic event known as the "Outbreak". As the cast tries to survive the zombie apocalypse, they must also face the additional threats of societal collapse, in the form of dangerous fellow survivors, and the possible decay of their own moral codes." - from Wikipedia

This anime shys away from traditional Apocalyptic Zombie Outbreak scenarios by the fact that the students actually know what they're dealing with. (Re-animated human beings.) It's full of fanservice as well. (Most of the female character's boobs jiggle a fuck ton.)

I recommend this to anyone who is even remotely interested in Anime involving nudity, zombies, chicks with weaponz, or a combination of the three.
