The U.S. war in Afghanistan began not 20, but more than 40 years ago. Except for the towering arrogance of the leaders in Washington, it could have ended in November 2001 when the Taliban offered to surrender.

The earlier phase, which lasted from 1979 to 1989, is excluded from nearly any mention by the mainstream capitalist media today. But without understanding what happened back then, it is impossible to comprehend the current catastrophic situation for the people of that country.

Cette phrase de Don Fernand qui ouvre la scène VI de l’acte II tisse la trame de cette œuvre pour flûte solo.
Reprenant le principe du vers alexandrin, l’interprète développe divers modèles répétitifs et récursifs qui interrompent inopinément sa forme constante.
Ces modèles, caractérisés par une rythmicité idiomatique, renforcent une structure mécanique qui se rétrécit progressivement.
Toute la pièce serpente autour de cette idée maîtresse et le geste instrumental est progressivement lié à la parole humaine.

Création qui prend sa source à Montbéliard, ville où nombre de rivières ont été détournées, enfouies, canalisées…et qui tisse des liens
invisibles entre les habitants d’une ville en profonde mutation, où il semble de plus en plus compliqué de communiquer. A travers une montée des rivières inexpliquée, la pièce convoque un paysage de voix d’habitants, dont les récits intimes semblent remonter à la surface à mesure que la ville disparait sous l’eau.

_ Créateur et réalisateur sonore pour la radio et le théâtre, il aborde dans son travail radiophonique les territoires de l’intime et s’attache à créer des formes singulières qui décloisonnent les genres.

I divided the screen into 5 parts.
Each part is linked to an instrument channel.
Every time a cloud enters or leaves one of the 5 areas it activates a trigger/gate.

1)	Guzheng/Percussion kit
2)	Harp Harmonic - wood
3)	Prepared Kalimba
4) 	Percussion kit 2
5)	Contrabass col legno

As sound binder I used a loop generated by Reaktor (TG-8H Live by Rick Scott)

The track is a very mechanical walk, created by generative sequencers. The sounds, as in recent times, are percussive / acoustic.
Ergo very short sound envelope in order not to saturate ears and acoustic field.
