Libre Wave is an award winning music software developer specialising in the production of sample libraries for the Rhapsody player plugin. 

Since 2010 we have produced a number of in-house sample libraries and provided knowledge and expertise to a variety of developers to enhance their products. Some of the companies and individuals we work with include: Sampleism, Strezov Sampling, Nicholas Signat, Tronsonic, Frank Macchia, Wavesfactory, Paper Stone Instruments, Aria Sounds, and Thinkspace Education. 

We aim to produce sample libraries that work and sound good straight out of the (virtual) box. Our instruments are playable without the need to carefully tweak hundreds of parameters. We believe in detailed sampling, efficient scripting, and high playability allowing you to spend less time setting up the instruments and more time using them. 

We apply minimal processing to our samples and rely on the natural dynamics, tonal characteristics, and warmth of the acoustic instruments we record. Rather than trying to capture the performance of an individual musician we create virtual reproductions of musical instruments that you can perform yourself. To do this we rely on expert musicianship, talented technicians, and high quality programming.
