Very classical soundtrack..fantastic piano work..love the ambient atmosphere..great mix & recording!

I composed "Dark Skyline Brighter Dawn" for Piano Day 2023. The piano is the Fracture Sounds Woodchester piano. The strings are from #SpitfireAudio. The pictures in the art work are from an unfinished painting of my father's from the early 70s.

Passacaglia and Fugue in C minor BWV 582 by Johann Sebastian Bach is an organ composition and was probably written between 1706 and 1713.

Besides transposing the score, the main difficulty was to imitate the sound of a sacred organ with synthesizer. Another challenge was to recreate the sound space of a large church or a cathedral. 

I hope I have solved all the challenges well and that you like this piece.

Passacaglia und Fuge c-Moll BWV 582 von Johann Sebastian Bach ist eine Orgelkomposition und vermutlich in der Zeit zwischen 1706 und 1713 entstanden.

Neben der Umsetzung der Partitur bestand die Hauptschwierigkeit daran, den Klang einer sakralen Orgel mit Synthesizern nachzuahmen. Ein weitere Herausforderung war den Klangraum einer großen Kirche oder eines Doms nachzuempfinden. 

Ich hoffe ich habe alle Herausforderungen gut gelöst und euch gefällt dieses Stück.

I returned after the hearing loss (deaf in the right ear) and a long abstinence to electronic music in 2014/16.
While I used to make music exclusively on hardware synthesizers in my early days, a number of virtual instruments are now in use. My DAW is Ableton Live with a lot of Plugins ;-)
For many years, I have only been able to hear on one hearing. This makes it difficult for me to mix them but I give my best.
Besides music, photography is my great passion, that's also where my artist name comes from. Therefore all pictures and photos that can be seen on Sondcloud are my own work.
