'The Wolf Inside Us EP' is the latest release by UK Artist Andy Chizzle.
Following from his last release earlier this year - 'The Masquerade' - the new release captivates a modern Techno sound - delving further into the Melodic House sound at times and evolving his sound further - bringing in new elements of Disco, Soundscape, Dub, Synthwave and Classic House.

The EP opens with the lead single 'LOCUSTS' - a track that opens with a Melodic Techno bassline - bringing in elements of a melody with a Classical Piano Chord sequence and cascading into a pulsating Detroit-style Techno drop.

The second track - 'Capsule' has an edgy more Dark Electro sound. It brings in a dubby. bassy, percussive flavour often found in Afro House before ending in a synth lead taking the listener into never heard before territory.

Closing with the Epic soundscape ' The Wolf Inside Us.' Elements of Techno, House, Melodic, Synthwave and Darkwave blend together taking the listener on an Epic and almost B-Movie journey.

BIO
Having been raised on an late 90s/early 2000s diet of trance & Progressive House, it will be no surprise to find anthemic soundscapes & melody, with driving basslines in any mixes by Simon. Drawing on the early influences of Sasha & Digweed & Hernan Cattaneo, & more recently Guy J, you will always hear those long smooth mixes to create & build the energy. 

With those early days of Clubbing having such an influence, the inspiration was there to get involved back in 2004, buy my first set of decks & start the journey of learning to mix. 16 years later the enthusiasm & motivation to find that new music & killer tracks is just as strong as ever. 

Thanks for Terry for inviting me to play on his fantastic show. Terry & I met the best part of 20 years ago & I have him to thank for introducing me to the wonders of Sankeys Soap in Manchester. It was a significant moment that shaped my musical direction for years to come, with many many amazing nights at Tribal Sessions. Oh, & what a cracking night that was, eh Tez ;)

ALLO/Saturo Sounds Festive Residents Day Mix Dec 2020

Liddle Rascal's no stranger to the land of trance and progressive. After hearing a CD with the 1999 Spundae Studio set by Hybrid in early '00, he was hooked. He danced from genre to genre. Breaks, Trance, Hard Dance, House, finally landing in his genres of choice, Deep Progressive House and Minimal Progressive Trance. After learning how to mix, he made a brief foray into the land of internet radio as a guest on LRCN's 4x4 Show on Afterhours.fm and a short lived live internet series called The Absinthe Sessions. Shortly thereafter, life caught up to him. He disappeared off the face of the EDM for years only to re-emerge, determined to resurrect The Hookah Clan and committed to spreading the Progspel across the globe, one set at a time.

In a quest to get in touch with his musical roots, he recently sprung on an idea for a new series of DJ sets called The Mixumentaries. This unique series gives the listener a glimpse into the mind of producers by spotlighting artists and laying a interview with them over the top of a set comprised solely of their music. He's also begun taking baby steps back into the world of internet radio appearing as a guest on Blake Baltimore's Abandon Logic show on DI.fm. Not much else is known about him other than his love for music. "I typically play my sets close to my chest, but it's time to get out there and start spread the Progspel again" he said.

According to Liddle Rascal, life is like his favorite DJ set... He's stuck in the transition waiting for the beat to drop.
