What a great ~4 1/2 hours of music this show was. We kicked off the evening with @BlakeBaltimore live set as his induction into the hallowed halls of The Hookah Clan. Welcome Brotholemew.

Live is live. you have no idea how live it was. We both forgot to hit record at the beginning of our sets and I had my input mapped to something that was blasting feedback. I got it figured out about halfway into the first track. That's the "Testing" you'll hear. lol I love live and I mean that in the best possible way. This set was so much fun to mix. From start to end the choons mostly just went. I normally pick a ton of tracks line a couple up at the beginning then go blazing off into freestyle, grab and go and usually end up with unmixed tracks at the end. Not this time. I used all of the tracks. That doesn't happen. Ever. lol

I was drinking Galactic Space Dragon by Odin Brewing specially picked for this show by a friend of mine, Miss Q. Epic beer. Gave a shout out but it was missed in the all the hub-ub of getting this thing started.

Nick Denny's A Life Less Ordinary resident guest on Saturo Sounds since 2023.

Bert began his electronic music journey in the late 80's attending the legendary AAHZ parties with the absolute wizards Kimball Collins and Dave Cannalte., with many nights hosting the man himself, Sasha, as well as other iconic members of our scene, like Chris Fortier. Bert's love for electronic music was intense and immediate. He started working at the record stores Innagruve and later the legendary Drop Shop in Orlando hosting Drop Radio’s Progressive Thursdays with Danny Moore, aka Ablekid, in the early days of internet radio. He has held many residencies over the years, such as VOLUME and THE CROOKED BAYOU with Chris Booth. So many great lifelong friends have been made through his journey in music, its hard to name them all! Bert’s style is heavily influenced by GUYJ,HERNAN CATTANEO. SASHA, NICK WARREN,FRAMEWERK, as well as future legends KAMILO SANCLEMENTE and ALEX O'RION

Liddle Rascal's no stranger to the land of trance and progressive. After hearing a CD with the 1999 Spundae Studio set by Hybrid in early '00, he was hooked. He danced from genre to genre. Breaks, Trance, Hard Dance, House, finally landing in his genres of choice, Deep Progressive House and Minimal Progressive Trance. After learning how to mix, he made a brief foray into the land of internet radio as a guest on LRCN's 4x4 Show on Afterhours.fm and a short lived live internet series called The Absinthe Sessions. Shortly thereafter, life caught up to him. He disappeared off the face of the EDM for years only to re-emerge, determined to resurrect The Hookah Clan and committed to spreading the Progspel across the globe, one set at a time.

In a quest to get in touch with his musical roots, he recently sprung on an idea for a new series of DJ sets called The Mixumentaries. This unique series gives the listener a glimpse into the mind of producers by spotlighting artists and laying a interview with them over the top of a set comprised solely of their music. He's also begun taking baby steps back into the world of internet radio appearing as a guest on Blake Baltimore's Abandon Logic show on DI.fm. Not much else is known about him other than his love for music. "I typically play my sets close to my chest, but it's time to get out there and start spread the Progspel again" he said.

According to Liddle Rascal, life is like his favorite DJ set... He's stuck in the transition waiting for the beat to drop.

Don't let the fox ears fool you!  17-year listener of electronic beats... Yes, I am young but have had my ears pricked since the early days.  "EDM"... Please explain.  LOL!  I get it.  But 2050 or 2005, I only know SOUL, talent and thoughtfulness in all spooky/funky/bassy/moody/techy/dubby/proggy/trancey/downtempo-y(if that's a word)/electroey/discohousey/chilly/steppy/etc/etc/etc/ genres.  DJ in training (DJ Sully Sparks).  Gonna get you. ;D
