What Jazz Avoid is music label based on Hokkaido Japan.

Kyo Yanagi as known as SANMI is the founder of the label and also Japanoid musician, activated in music since 1996. He had music career in several bands as Pops, Avant-garde, Experimental and Authentic Jazz at Tokyo. After that he worked with algorithmic composition as a mean to sculpt IDM tracks, using MaxMSP, MaxForLive and Ableton, and has released countless music in a European, Amercian, Russian and Japanese of music labels. Besides, regularly collaborates with the artist V4W.Enko (aka Evganiy Vaschenko), from the Kvitnu (Ukraine) label artist. And recently engaged in free style improvised acoustic music. And also worked with several movie productions, rap artists as track maker and contemporary dancers as multi-instrument player. Also the researcher of Duke Ellington and Blliy Strayhorn compositions as life work.

北海道白老在住の音響芸術家。都市環境並びに自然との霊的な交感をテーマとした作曲やパフォーマンスが特徴。国内だけでなく、リトアニア、ウクライナ、香港などの海外公演も行う。DJセットを含む８０タイトルを超える作品群をリリースしており、多作な電子音楽家・実験音楽家・即興演奏家として実績がある。近年、岡本太郎ドキュメンタリー映画『太陽の塔』のサウンドトラックの制作に携わるなど、映画音楽も作成している。ウクライナの全方位型アーティストであり、max/msp専門家のV4W.ENKOとのコラボレーションプロジェクトY:E:T名義としても活動。多楽器奏者として、集団アコースティック即興演奏・舞踏集団とのコラボレーション・ワークショップを主宰。NYジャズの鬼才ドンチェリーとの共演で知られるパーカッション奏者の木村正人氏と共同制作を行なっている。またトラックメーカーとしてラップアーティストやダンサーに楽曲提供をしている。ライフワークとして、デューク・エリントン及びビリー・ストレイホーンの楽曲研究に日々勤しんでいる。

Hello,
I am in the Los Angeles South Bay area.  I have been singing and writing many genres for years.  
   I tend to do mainly vocal trance, hard trance, hardstyle, hard core, industrial, synthpop, & mainstream & musical theater.  I sing more mellow stuff but I LISTEN TO THE HARD STUFF, LOL.

The easiest way to get me to do vocals is contact me with an already finished song, that just needs recording. 
   (I don't have a studio at home BUT I have decent mics and recording equipment so sometimes so I CAN record at home if you know how to produce really well, and also DJs will use my acapella recordings and build around them, remix them, do mashups, whatnot.  Or I can record at a studio of your choosing as long as studio time is paid for and it isn't more than an hour from where I live because I don't drive, I have spinal injuries but they aren't noticable. still , I don't drive or do crazy things because I don't trust my back and the meds I have to take to keep it working LOL.
    My rates and terms are very reasonable, usually appx. average  pay or less pay+final versions of the tracks.  I do not sell the tracks unless you want to promote them that way.  Otherwise, they are for my own self-promo use.

I also act, model, shoot photography, and am available for voiceovers (animated, commercials, soundtracks), promotional work for clubs, DJs, events, campaigns.

I am a mezzo and have live training and both love and studio experience.  eventually I would like to find a manager and SAG/AFTRA agent.  I had a couple years ago but began doing other lines of work.

I have no desire to become famous or well known; I just want to make good music, even if it's not popular in the USA... most of my DJ friend are in Europe and some on parts of Asia.
